Yves (989), Beerse, Belgium Oct 23, 2009 A light amber coloure beer with a small white head and no carbonation. A hoppy aroma. Full palate. Finish is sweet hoppy bitter. This my personal topper I have drunk at the Mondial in Strasbourg. Just a fantastic beer. Gypsy19 (602), California, USA Oct 23, 2009 Pours a hazy orange-amber with a small ivory head. Aroma is of citrusy hops and sweet chocolatey malts. Flavor is quite sweet with heavy flower nectar and powdered chocolate toward the end. The hops are pretty mild. Medium viscosity, bitter finish. Overall, very good. brenn79 (140), Idaho, USA Oct 22, 2009 Updated: Oct 23, 200912 oz. bottle- Wow, I was blown away by this, I started my night by drinking a six pack of slow elk, then drank a Kona pipeline porter, then a Great Divide Chocolate oak aged imperial stout. After those great porters and stouts, I was in the mood for something hoppy, so I grabbed what I assumed was the hoppiest beer in my beer fridge, a 90 minute IPA, and it delivered. The ample amount of hops are well balanced with a nice sweetness to it. The best of the Imperial IPA bunch- so far. VillageBeerVin (15), Buffalo, New York, USA Oct 21, 2009 Growler from Village Beer Merchant. Pours a light amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of delcious fruity hops, alcohol, and sweet biscuity malt. Tastes sweet with lots of pine/spicy/citrus/apricot hop flavors. Finishes with spicy hop bitterness and alcohol burn. Yum!!! Always a good brew, but seems lighter and the hops seem less bitter than a few years ago. EvilKingWilson (11), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Oct 20, 2009 my go to iipa. such hoppy goodness that makes my mouth water every time. a hop heads dream come true. A+ dogfish head. Teege (71), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 20, 2009 Draft at redlight redlight. Pours amber with streaks of gold. A grassy nose meets with a very well balanced beer in the flavor. Lots of malts as well as hops prevent a huge bitterness (not necessarily a compliment) despite the IBU’s. Still, very tasty and refreshing. Hints of liquor, just a tad syrupy. Very smooth. Gets you drunk before you realize what happened. ciciorock (10), , Italy Oct 19, 2009 Bottle @Mondiale de le biere in Strsbourg
Molto persistente e molto armonica... acblue (50), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 19, 2009 Gorgeous golden color with pillowy white head. Wonderful balance; massive hop bite transitioning to a nice malt finish and a citrusy aftertaste.
