Btl pours crystal clear copper color with a huge tight head that hangs on forever leaving huge webs of lace on glass. This beer just looks amazing! Aromas of caramel, alcohol, cooked apricots, brown sugar and other candied fruits. Tastes of sweet toffee,a hint of alcohol, earthy hops and light toast. Medium body, smooth, soft mouthfeel, perfect carbonation and a slightly bitter and dry finish. This IIPA is simply amazing. Nicely balanced, easy to drink beer that is smooth as a baby’s a$$! What an absolutely outstanding time to be partaking right in the middle of the craft beer "Revolution"!!!!

I am not an I.P.A. fan. But in all honesty this is one of my favorites. With the strong malt presence as well as a great mouthfeel. Has a copper body, and a strong hop afterbite

Elle me rappelle certains Barleywine américains bien houblonnés...

Marmalade and caramel aroma, some spicy straw hops and booze present in the smell as well. Taste is sweet candied oranges and caramel followed by barley spice and straw. Taste seems to very much match the aroma.

Has decent head and a good foggy copper body. Flavour is indeed hoppy but not in the complexity department that all these accolades seem to suggest. Nonetheless it’s highly drinkable.

BOTTLE. Poured clear golden in colour, solid but thin white head. Sweet fruity hops on the nose with subtle sherbet. Nice fruity hops up front, passionfruit?? subtle malt middle with a good citrus hoppy finish... hides the ABV extremely well.. Sourced RW

12oz btl. 3/27/15 bottle date (69 days old). Appearance: clear golden with a moderate off white foam cap. Aroma: Underlying resin and maltiness, with a pop of grapefruit and peaches. Taste: Rich maltiness with fruity, fig like flavors, with a toasted edge, giving way to a balanced bittereness that gradually increases in strength. Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation Finish: Dry, resinous feeling left on the tongue, with strong but not sharp Overall: A great, classic IIPA. Strong enough malt backbone to balance the high IBU, while remaining extremely drinkable, especially for the style.

Bottle from Hannaford Supermarket Exeter NH. Aroma is strong piney/spruce hops along with toasted malts. Appearance is beautiful crystal clear light golden orange with trace sparkling, 1/2 finger width head that dissipates quickly to ring with fair lacing. Taste is robust complex mix of malty sweetness with sweet liquor fruitiness and finishing mild bitterness. Palate is light bodied but meaty texture and lively carbonation at the sides of the tongue. Overall, this is a beer with a lot of things going for it--complex aroma and taste with a beautiful look and an interesting palate.
