Bottle. An amber coloured pour with a light head. Hoppy aroma backed up with plenty of malt. Hint of caramel and some fruit, sweet too. Had this beer many times Stateside. This really is my kind of beer, bloody superb!

For a person who has never tried an imperial/double ipa... common sense would suggest that 90 min would be hoppier than the 60 min... this is definitely not the case!!! the 90 min is malty. I had this beer after 3 other traditional ipa’s during an ipa sampling with my brother in-law. If you want hopps this is not the beer for you. However, it is a very good malty beer that warms you up. a definite must try on a cold winter day.

Everyone else has already said what needs to be said about this near perfect beer. I cracked one open to welcome the first great day of Spring in Dayton, OH. What a wonderful world :-)

12 oz Had this many times living in fl. 4 packs and on tap at mellow mushroom. Pours dark amber with medium head. aroma is full of floral and citrus hops. this is a full bodied work of art. suprising finishes with perfect mix of sweet malt and bitterness. I think it lives up to its hype. runs a close race with pliny the elder east vs west.......

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium amber color with 1-finger off-white head that lingers for a bit and masks the aroma initially. Good lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity hops, a bit of citrus fruit similar to a witbier, perhaps raisins, very faint hint of pine. Mouthfeel is very thick like a stout, a bit creamy. Flavor begins with fruity hops, smoke, pine, caramel malted barley. Trails off with building bitterness of hops, alcohol, pine, and a faint hint of citrus hops. Definitely a complex shifting of flavors in the aftertaste. My new favorite IPA!

Based on the hype, I was actually a little disappointed here. The apperance in particular is top notch and the aroma is also superb. Has a very nice chewy mouthfeel. Its the taste that lets me down a little bit. I think perhaps a different combo of hops might have served better here. I prefer the Weyenbacher Double Simcoe to this really. But I wont complain, just probably wont seek it out again for the price.

This is simply one of the best beers in the world. Citrus and grassy hops are the stars. Extremely well balanced and totally sexy. A must try.

Just finished the 35,5cl Bottle. Pours a nice amber with small head. Hoppy nose with citric fruits and grass.Flavor balances well the sweet malts and bitter hops. Lasting aftertaste and nice bitter finish.
