Beerman125 (18), , New York, USA Mar 27, 2009 One of the best IPA’s I’ve experienced. A long finish that rests on the back of your palate. ChapelThrill (26), California, USA Mar 25, 2009 Updated: Apr 1, 2009Bottle 12 oz. Solid copper golden pour. Not the biggest lover of hoppy IPA’s, but this beer wasn’t too bad. Not as bitter as some, and fairly balanced. Bigger fan of the 60 minute, but this was still somewhat enjoyable. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Mar 25, 2009 Poured amber with white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Great hop bitterness that finishes a little dry. Good stuff. eyesolus (64), Mill Creek, Washington, USA Mar 21, 2009 Bottle; not what I was expecting; dark clear copper pour; foamy head; typical aroma; EFG 1; lots of carbonation; nice malt flavor with a slight bitter hop taste; as it warms the alcoholic aroma and flavor really kicks in. (#58) njbfr (105), New Jersey, USA Mar 19, 2009 Pure amber with a thick off-white head. Aroma is floral/citrus hops with a side of hops. Yet another IPA that renews my faith in this style. Hop profile is huge but is backed up well by the malt flavor. Alcohol taste is evident and not masked as well as I would have thought. I think Stone’s IPA is better mainly because of its drinkability. maxa9 (20), , Washington, USA Mar 19, 2009 12 oz bottle in a snifter. Pours a glowing dark orange color. Little head. Faint lacing. Aromas are subtle. A bit over-carbonated, but extremely well balanced flavor with a smooth malt finish. Very nice beer. BVery (444), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Mar 17, 2009 BOTTLE: clear copper pour, aroma of pine hops and fruit. Taste is raisin, citrus, hop, and a nice malt backing. I like the 60 minute better, but this is good.
