Delicious IPA. Head and color something darker than pale. Strong barley-malt flavor with hints of toffee and a hoppy finish. The most surprising thing about this beer is the heaviness of the lace. Great value.

I feel sorry for the prior reviewer, I live about 6 hours north of SF and never have any trouble finding this delightful brew. Maybe he’s not looking in the right places... I recently introduced a beer neophyte friend to this beer and he immediately fell in love as well, a testament to how surprisingly easy drinking it is for a 9% brew. Heavily hopped and tasty as all hell.

Excellent, smooth Double IPA. Just enough complexity to satisfy extreme hopheads, with enough simplicity to serve to newbies. I only wish this particular beer was available more often. We were lucky to get this one on the West Coast for a short window of time.

Very virbrant IPA. Nose of fruits, grassy hops. Flavors of sweet malts with lots of citrus, some apple. Good DIPA

Absolutely great beer. Good alcohol and and it is not as thick or heavy as one may expect. Don’t hesitate.

Bottle at EBF. Copper, small white head. Sweet honeyish aroma, passion fruity hops. Sweet toffee malty flavor, flowery hops. Slightly over sweet. Smooth low carbonation. Simple but enjoyable DIPA, not that extreme. I’d sure like to try this at home.

12 Oz. bottle. Nutty hoppy aroma. Not floral, bitter, almost a coffee aroma. Quarter inch head, and that was a vigorous pour. Dense little head dissapated quickly. Light lace left. Boom! Big round flavor. Fat. Definitely more flavor than the nose let on. Damn this at 10 bucks a 4 pack. Big flavor, with lots going on. Not sharp and dry like some, but not super fruity either. Flavor is light in the front, and thick sweet in the back of the mouth. Definite mouth movement. Not the beer to drink if you want to pound down a couple of brewskies, as this thing kinda’ commands you to pay attention to it.
