Great IPA! Definitely one of the best I have had although for the price I do prefer the taste and cost of the 60 minute. I love the essence of the grapefruit hops. Definitely a great beer!

Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with loads of caramel, toasted malt and hoppy notes. Sweet flavor with grapefruit, pine, caramel and loads of hops to finish it off bitter. Excellent!

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a medium sized off-white head. Nose of caramel, malt, hops, citrus and alcohol. Sweet flavour with alcohol, port and overriped fruit. Syrup texture. Full bodied. Pleasant bitter finish, again with alcohol. Complex and very enjoyable.

Bottled at EBF 2008. Clear amber, medium white head. Malty and earthy aroma with piney and citric hops, and with notes of tropical fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Well balanced with a long bitterness.

Summary: Deliciously sweet, syrupy malt bomb, and then the hops come out to play just when you thought it was safe to swallow. Aroma: Intense hops, mostly pine, some grapefruit. Appearance: Clear caramel-colored medium amber, puts forth a thick, dense, off-white head that leaves abundant lace. Flavor: Big malt presence, honey, caramel, vanilla, somewhat boozy. The hops are there, but don’t become the dominant element until the finish, pine, a little citrus. Bitterness lingers on the cheeks and lips. Palate: Thick, syrupy while drinking, hops leave a cooling tingle in the mouth that trumps any alcohol warming.

WOW!!! Now this is by far the smoothest IPA I’ve ever had. It’s a little pricey but wow is it worth it!! If you like true IPA’s then try this! Even if it’s expensive; just remember you get what you pay for. This is worth every penny. SUPERB!!
