Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute I.I.PA., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall The Enamel Animal! 90 ibu

This definitely is one of the best IPAs I’ve had. The mouth-feel kind of reminds me of Centennial IPA from Founders in that it’s slightly oily. While I tend to prefer the mouth-feel similar to the 60 minute and Stone’s IPA when I’m drinking this style of beer. That aside, I can’t think of anything else that remotely turns me off. The first thing that struck me: malt and hops are so well balanced. Citrus notes from the hops give way to raisins and a bit of caramel from the malt and then finishing with a clean, bitter hop flavor that doesn’t linger too much. This is phenomenal. The flavors are so well rounded with just enough of that lingering hoppy bitterness to not be cloying. This coming from a person who is really picky about his IPAs.

Poured from a bottle into a Dogfishhead tulip a clear dark golden orange. Aroma is juicy sweet grass. Flavor is caramelized hops. The bitterness is balanced into the toffee malts. One of the better DIPA out there. On my top 10 DIPAs list.

Hófehér habkorona, tiszta, átlátszó borostyán szín, marcipános, kissé konyakos beütésű, gyantás-mézes árnyalatú, vehemens illatok jelzik érkezését a világ egyik leghíresebb, stílusteremtő főzetének. A 60 perces testvéréhez hasonlóan egy jó adag brit karakter jegyeit hordozza magán, a vajas-kekszes maláta beton-szilárd alapjain vaskos szerkezetű építmény kezd kibontakozni.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2014 Orange-amber color with small head. Citrus-piney nose, a hint of tropical fruits, not too fruity, as the 60 minutes one. Bittersweet, grapefruity taste. Full malt body. Really good.

Poured from a bottle into a snifter at home. There is minimal head and a subtle aroma that is reminiscent of tropical fruit. It is on the sweet side. That said it is a very complex DIPA and a fine East Coast specimen of this style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drinking my last of 4 bottles poured into a pint glass to let this masterpiece breathe! As my palate continues to develop from 60-93 percentile ales and stouts I honestly thought initially that this IPA was a case of "IPA’s gone overboard". Now that I am on my fourth one (two weeks later from #1 of the brown recycled paper-looking 4-pack) this beer has grown on me! As I am nephew of uncles who introduced me to cabs, scotches, leg of lamb and cigars my senses have taken to the strong taste and this IPA puffs its chest out and goes nose to nose with your tongue! Basically to me it tastes and feels like a 50/50 mix of two of my favorite beers; Bell’s Double Cream Stout and Sierra Nevada. Perhaps I will soon mix those two 50/50 myself and do a live comparison! Who’s in?!

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a lasting small creamy white head. Aroma is quite malty with biscuit, candy, dried fruit, mild pine, grass and spice. Taste is near heavy sweet, light+ bitter. Body is medium, texture is quite oily, carbonation is soft+. Finishes sweet with orange fruit and biscuit with a greasy mouthfeel.

Aroma is citrus, resin and peach. Appearance is golden, clear and slim beautiful head. Taste is heavy, slightly alcoholic, plum and almost spicy. Mouthfeel is thick and a bitterness lingers. Overall a delicious, complex and impressive IIPA.

Super godt bryg!
