I enjoy having this beer around, lots of flavor but it doesnít linger too long and I donít find it overpowering.
I pick it up any time that I can make it to Texas since itís not sold in Louisiana.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - Clear amber pour with a foamy white head. Nose is piney, herbal hops, but not over-the-top. Lightly spicy with a bit bready malt base. Taste is dry, with pine and herbal hops, spicy, almost cedar quality with a good deal of sweet bready malt. A bit of sharp booziness and a lot of warmth in the belly. Slick and fairly thick. Iíve had this one a lot over the years--canít believe Iíve never rated it. I think I probably liked this one a lot better five years ago.

Strong hops. Some sweetness. Potent bomb of a beer. Poured this out the last time I had. Drank it happily today.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from safeway, san francisco. Clear light copper color, white head. Aroma is mainly malty but also hops on the back. Malty sweet body, suprisingly not very strong hops.

Light orange, reddish pour into a snifter glass. Head dissipates fast. Very strong floral smell. Lots of hop aromas. Nice well balanced taste. Its hoppy, but thatís not all. You can taste the malts. Slightly sweet. One if the most balanced IIPAs Iíve had. Very smooth beer. Could drink way to many any of these. Pretty light but very flavorful. Waited a long time to yet this beer. Not disappointed.

Great copper-orange color. Light head when poured. Inviting hippy, bitter aroma. Love the citrus finish on the aroma. Great bitterness without being too much. Great choice!!

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of the best beers out there, second to the DFH 120 minute IPA. Does not taste like your chewing hops.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2013 Sweet malty aroma almost like breakfast cereal with some fruit notes. Decent pour, fine texture head. Hops diminished, i was warned it was an old bottle though. Wish i could score it more but overall this bottle was flat tasting resulting in no lingering flavour.

Pours off white head. Massive aroma of hops. Tastes rather sweet, with a good hit of hops and the malt backbone showing through, a bit of alcohol creeping in. Real smooth mouthfeel, and a lasting malt flavour.
