I think dogfish head has it right again. Great balance not over done as far as the hops, very smooth. The hops are what make this brew but as I stated not over whelming.

Awesome light golden copper color, with a big fluffly off white head that seems to never go away. lots of lacing on glass. Nice earthy smell, bit of carmel and alot of hops. Nice bitter taste of hops and citrus with a raisiney finish.

Lovely looking amber coloured imperial ipa with a small sticky head that leaves nice lazing on my snifter. Neat, bright caramell aroma with well integrated hops. Great oily, full bodied with a malty, fresh hoppy taste. Crisp, hoppy and perfumey finish and a sweet, lingering malt aftertaste on a soft, bitter base. Incredibley balanced, dangerously drinkable.

Bottle bought @ Knightly Spirits,Orlando in February. Drunk at home in UK. A beefy, full in the face IPA with the extreme hoppiness balanced by a strong maltiness and background sweetness. A lovely beer. Also had the 60min; would love to try the 120mins!

A lovely tasting IPA that feels warm and fuzzy in the mouth. A truly bitter beer mellowed by a raisiny, brandy flavor. A superb beer that I can’t say enough good things about.

12 oz bottle. Clear, deep honey-colored, sparkling body topped with a small-but-persistent, bone-colored head that leaves behind nice rings of lace. The nose is citrusy with grapefruit, pine astringence, sweet booze, metal, lots of roasted malt//caramel. Mouth is medium with a good dose of creamy//foamy carbonation for a dry finish. A nice mouth. Flavor is big: lots of hops and lots of malts; a tremendous amount of both, kind of battling one another. In the blue corner, fighting for hops, we have Grapefruit Rind being coached by Pinimus Maximus. Fighting out of the red corner is Roasted Barley, being coached by Baked Raisin. Refereeing the fight is a Sugared Brandy. Other tasting notes include caramel, lots of floral, honey, heavily roasted finish from the malts, and some pine sap floating in the background. A bit rough overall--maybe a few months of cellaring would help--but quenching, drinkable, unique, and very good. Not your ordinary IPA. Let it warm up.
