Pours an apple juice color. Aroma of mild fruityness with a slight musty smell. Taste of a very distinct hops with a certain bite to the aftertaste. An enjoyable IPA.

Pours orange with red tint and a thin head. Very hoppy smell with malt undertones. First taste is all hop and bitterness. As you drink your palat begins to notice more spices as the complexity of the beer comes through. I bwould recommend this beer to some one who wants to know what an ipa should taste like

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a laced white head. Big aroma of pine, caramel, fruit and a little boozy. The flavour I found to be a letdown with the alcohol quite evident in taste. A mate mentioned that it was quite medicinal and I’d concur. There’s more of that boozy character right through to the finish. Would like to try again sometime as maybe the bottle wasn’t up to par.

Having now tried the 60, 90 and 120 minute IPAs from dogfish head, I can safely say that this is my favorite. Big hop smell and big hop taste. To me a much better overall beer than the other two.

Pours medium orange with a smallish creamy white head. Light lacing on the glass that seems to hang around. Aroma of Raisins, hops some alcohol. Slight woody aroma with a citrusy tang. Aroma gets stronger as the beer warms. Slightly crisp mouthfeel from the bubbles. Taste of hops, honey, alcohol, dried fruits and rosemary. Some citrus flavors as the beer warms. Very well balanced with nothing too overpowering. Yummy. I would drink several of these or add them to the regular rotation if it weren’t so expensive

While, going from the 120min. to this is a big difference, they are still both to sweet for my liking. The 120min. I can only drink about 3-4 oz. before I’m so overwhelmed I no longer enjoy it. I can make it through this, but would not want a second. Will give the 60min. a shot with higher expectations, not my favorite IIPA.

pours amber with a medium off white head. what i really liked about this beer is the big hop flavour backed up by a considerable amount of malt. You get some nice citrus and pine flavours with lots of caramel and toast in the background. Very nice on the palate leaving not much of an aftertaste. A great beer.
