Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Feb 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a one finger tan head that results in spotty lacing. The nose is light citrus hops, apricots and malt. The taste is light citrus, caramel and a strange sourish apricot finish. Medium bodied. Disappointing – was hoping for a hoppy IPA with some apricot but it missed the mark. BroSpud (584), , Massachusetts, USA Feb 16, 2009 12oz Bottle. $3.20 Julio’s Liquors. My quest to taste all things Dogfish brought me to this one. It is quite good though it seems a bit thin for a Dogfish. Apricot taste did come through as did the hops. I guess I am spoiled by the other Dogfish offerings that I was expecting more from this one. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Jan 31, 2009 Beautiful bright amber color with a decent long lasting head. Dry hopped with a slight apricot overtones in aroma and taste. Tastes like an IPA with a slight apricot twinge to it.
Barrios (852), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jan 8, 2009 Bottle with Butters at 1st Cellar Reduction. Pours dark honey color. Apricot nose. Apricot flavor with a nice dry finish. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Dec 28, 2008 Clear orangish amber pour with soap sudsy white thin head. Nose is vanilla, hops, and apricots. Flavor is floral hops with a slight fruitiness that becomes more pronounced, and a nice fruity bitterness on the finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. fizzban (27), whitehouse, New Jersey, USA Dec 27, 2008 This was a good fruit beer. aroma was light and apricot/hoppy. Taste followd through with apricot to start and hopps to finish. i partulary enjoyed this beer because of the hopps as most fruit beers dont have them as much and they fall flat on this finish. this beer delivers from start to finish ROGUE (621), Newark, Delaware, USA Dec 17, 2008 12oz bottle.
