chicagodri (1021), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 30, 2008 Weird beer, sort of hit or miss I guess. Pours orange with a thin head. Aroma mainly hops and a slight bit of apricot. More of an IPA and not as much fruit got through...apricots are overwhelming. Decent, but I prefer their regular IPAs. daknole (2802), Plantation, Florida, USA Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Odd beer IMO. Orangish pour. Some hops and apricot on the nose with hints of malts. Flavor is hoppy and has notes of apricots and peaches, but not a lot. Ok beer...but not what I expected. ajwilliams (118), , Indiana, USA Nov 20, 2008 Updated: Dec 1, 2008Love it. This beer is totally original. The apricot goes perfectly with the IPA that Dogfish does so well. HIghly recommended. smooch (95), Sylvania, Ohio, USA Nov 19, 2008 Not bad. You can tell that the apricot has changed the complexion of this beer, but it doesn’t really come through as geniune apricot flavor. GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 31, 2008 Pours a clear light orange with a slightly hoppy, slightly metallic and fruity smell. The taste is of mostly dried apricots, with some hoppy backbone. I thought I would like this a little more than I did, though. It just seems like it is missing something. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Oct 23, 2008 Shock -- it tastes like apricots! not really like fresh ones, more like the ones you get dried in a bag in that weird tropical fruit mix at the grocery store. Light and lively, that’s what I call this one. nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Oct 23, 2008 Pours a hazy peach color from the bottle with a firm off-white head. Smells and tastes of candied apricot and agressive hops. Tires as it warms, but an interesting brew to say the least. bierkoning (5987), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 20, 2008 Bottle from Lithy, thanks! Orange brown color. Grapefruit, red berries, flowery and oily hops and especially apricot in the aroma. Hopbitter, slightly medecinal yeasty flavor with apricot. Surprisingly dry, oily a touch of malty and fruity sweetness. Plesant brew.
