Pours a clear amber with a thin film white head. Aroma is lightly sweet fruit with just a hint of grain and some dough. Flavor is initially acidic then light malt and hops and then more acid only with a fruit undertone this time. Light to medium body, somewhat thin texture. Finishes bitter and fruity.

Balanced bitterness and sweetness. Very light body, goes down easy. Apricots sweetness is very subtle but noticable. Much better than other fruit beers that I have tried.

Draft - shaker pint glass at Beavers in Houston, TX. Pour is clear orange golden with not much off white head. Aroma of floral hops and very fresh apricots. Flavor was more IPA initially, with the floral hoppiness and nice sweet malt, with the apricots reappearing mid palate, through to the finish. The apricots really accented the IPA, rather than distracting. The palate is full for an IPA with the fruit sweetness very much coating the mouth. This was really drinkable and satisfying, fun to drink.

Bottled. Appearance - Light amber with good clarity and low non-lasting white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma - Fruity. Almost dominated by the apricots with some floral hop notes as well. Very much like a Magic Hat #9. Flavor - Apricots with some floral hops, much like the aroma. There is a sourness apparent in the middle through the aftertaste which combines with a low bitterness. Mouthfeel. Medium bodied with some astringency in the aftertaste and pleasing alcohol warmth. Overall - Not a favorite. I would prefer a Magic Hat #9 as this beer feels too one dimensional. The apricots overwhelm the aroma and flavor and the sourness feels out of place. My least favorite of the Dogfish Head beers I’ve tried.

Bottle. Stong fruity apicot aroma but the floral citrus hops are rather lacking. Orange/amber with a small head. Flavor is bittersweet fruit with a short aftertaste. I found that the more I drank this the less I liked it. Disappointing from these guys.

Big thanks to Zinister for the beer. The bottle looks really good. The beer in the glass is golden, not much foam. Very fruity aroma. Flavor the same, simply too fruity, too less "beery", not hoppy enough. Not so good!

Hit or miss. This one missed its target. Pours amber with a finger thick white head. Arome is a nice mix of apricot and hops. The taste is also a mix between the sugary sweetness of apricots and the sourness of hops. The mouthfeel left a nasty thick creamy sour feel on the palate and teeth. It carries its name of Aprihop quite well, not enough apricots and plenty of hops.
