This one started out great. Looks very nice, pale orange with a fantastic looking head. Aroma is hops and apricots, a nice combination; some mild grapefruit and pine in the mix too. But the flavor just falls short, too much apricot overpowers the hops and makes for a palate that never quite decides what it wants to be. Way too much fruit in the mix. Leaves the mouth sticky and dry and never satisfied.

A golden ale with a thin creamy white head. An initial strong apricot aroma, very pungent, followed by a burned charcoal aroma, like burning wood. In mouth, an oily beer with an initial strong apricot, followed by bitter and clying fruit taste, unripe, green, then followed by the floral IPA hops. Medium bodied. Tasted in late nov. 2006.

Pours a light yellow in color with only minimal head. Smell is slight hops and just a hint of tart fruit. Taste is much the same with just a slight sublety of apricots. The apricots work well in this beer, but they could have been a little more pronounced. Non-cloying and very refreshing. Could drink a few of these easily.

Bottle thanks to Ibrew2or3. Pours a clear amber with a tiny white head. The aroma is mostly hops with a hint of apricot. The flavor is pretty sweet upfront, with a bitter tartness in the finish. Quite a lot of hops mix with a apricot flavor, interesting, but not my favorite mix. Almost like a sour, but kind of odd. Decent and worth trying for sure.

If you like apricots... It’s a good beer, little strong. Brown color, lite lacing and little head. Full bodied, not much bite.

Bottle, Orange-copper pour with a fluffy tan head that sticks around. Smells fruity, but you can barely pick out the apricot. A fruity taste of course, but not distinctly apricot. I think they should have just called this a "summer" IPA or something else because the focus just isn’t apricots. With that said, It’s tasty, light, refreshing, and really a good beer. Would drink again!

I thought the 60 min IPA was my least favorite from Dogfish until I tried this one. I didn’t like it one bit. This totally tastes like a fruity beer for girls and wimps. Being a hop lover, this is my least favorite "IPA". The only good thing I can say about this brew is it was smooth on my palate.
