juiceisloose (640), Windermere, Florida, USA Jun 6, 2008 Poured an amberish orange body with a thin bubbly white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is of apricot juice and some citrus hops. The flavor is much the same with the apricot juice up front with some citrus hop bitterness in the background. The apricots don’t seem fresh, which is kind of disappointing. Medium bodied and full of carbonation with a slight bitter finish. This is not bad, but not something I would reach for often. gonzo46and2 (108), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 4, 2008 Updated: Jun 5, 2008Was a little unsure I’d like this beer since I’m not a fan of apricot. Pours an dark orange color with a good amout of head. Big aroma of Apricot and hops. Very flowery. Taste was better than I expected. This is a true IPA with a touch of apricot. rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Jun 4, 2008 Pours and orange - amber color with a good amout of head. the smell is of a really good apricot smell and slight hops. It is fruity on the front and finishes on a little hoppy side. not much after taste other than alittle fruit. pretty good brew i think... joekinty (263), rockledge, Florida, USA Jun 3, 2008 nice apricot aroma and flavor blended nicely in this wonderfull pale ale lots of hops gpoes well with the apricots nramsburg (200), New York, New York, USA Jun 3, 2008 Pours an orange, coppery color with a decent sized head. For a fruit beer this is really a treat, begins a little fruity but not overwhelmingly so. The hops kick in mid-palate and it finishes cleanly with both hops and apricot. One of the better Dogfish offerings I’ve had recently. DragonsHead (137), Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 2, 2008 This is one of the first craft beers I came to like. Nice fruity aroma with a hoppy finish. Not too much I can say avout this beer except that it’s good! Jan Primus (160), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Jun 1, 2008 Pours a nice, clear copper colour with small white head. Was somewhat skeptical how the apricot and hops would mesh but this turned out just fine as they were both well balanced, and the fruity apricot made the beer very refreshing on a hot evening, adding a subtle touch of sweetness to an ipa. Looking forward to trying this again. easement (4), USA does not count May 29, 2008 The apricot is very well balanced. It doesn’t hit you over the head like their festina peche does.
Pours golden/bronze in color.
nice subdued hop level.
