Pours clear, mahogany-copper color. great head to it. Up front aroma of apricot upon pouring. After a minute or two, the aroma is lost. At first sip, there is a hint of apricot but like the smell, fades away. Cream texture and good mouthfeel. Good clean hop finish but for being billed as an apricot beer, a bit disappointing. Good beer none-the-less. Just not what I expected. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Apricot is the correct description... apricot color, apricot smell and apricot taste, though I believe this one falls closer in taste to an IPA than a fruit beer due to the strong hop presence. Rather nice and worth trying. Beershine (2686), Hue, Vietnam
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 24, 2008 OK this is going to be easy. Nose is hop and apricot, hop and apricot, hop and apricot. Color and head are lovely. Taste is all over the place. Enters with esters, phenols, and resin. Mellows into the bitterness that can characterize dried fruits and citrus rinds. The combination is unique enough to titillate me but I won’t be jumping up and down for this #600. DFH is always fun, though. Cheers! SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2008 Copper in color with a thin to medium head. As expected there were lots of apricots in this one with nice caramel and hops. While not a huge fruit beer fan this was a nice one. ogglethorp (887), Ohio, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 9, 2008 12 oz. bottle pours a clear copper color with a thin head. Floral hop and caramel smell with a whiff of alcohol. Rich, creamy mouthfeel with good carbonation. Taste is a mix of burnt sweet caramels and grapefruit tart hops. Has a spicy yeasty alcohol finish.
More IPA than fruit beer here.
Reminds me of a smaller, more drinkable version of Immort ale. Pretty good.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Pours a murky brownish, orangey-red color (yeah, very unique if you really look at it) with a thin white head that doesn’t stick around long. Aroma is nice and different...mostly citrusy hops, but there’s some ’other’ fruit in there as well, including the apricots of course. Flavor is pretty good...sweet and fruity up front, then the hop bitterness kicks in. Ends slightly bitter with some lasting sweetness...a nice roller coaster. Apricot is evident up front and in the aftertaste, but there is a nectar-like flavor as soon as the ale hits your tongue. Nice level of carbonation...a very nice deviance from a traditional IPA; wouldn’t hesitate to snag this up again!
