JonnyC22 (162), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Jun 23, 2009 Very mild and fruity. Good carb and nice palate. I generally dislike fruit beers but this one is very good. Avengedpoet (325), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jun 23, 2009 Being poured at Made in the Shade 2009. Pours a deep amber/copper with decent-sized fluffy white head. Aroma is very fruity - lots of citrus hops and some apricot come through. I was pretty amazed at how well the fruit and hops worked together. Very refreshing. craftycarl21 (513), South Hero, Vermont, USA Jun 22, 2009 Pours darker than i expected, a dark copper with a very small white head. The nose holds lots of citrus hops, along with apricot and peach. Aroma is very fruity, with the apricot definitely coming through, though the hop bitterness is still clearly evident. There is a bit of caramel and barnyard in there as well. Solid palate, great choice for a summer brew- interesting and full, but still drinkable. Sregnar35 (729), Rotterdam, New York, USA Jun 20, 2009 On tap at Mahars. Pours very thick with a good head. Aroma is crap with a ton of fruit. Flavor is apricots and shitty hops, not for me. joshcook83 (8), Atlanta, Georgia, USA does not count Jun 20, 2009 Lighter on the hops than I expected (especailly from Dogfish Head), but what’s there provides a nice balance to the fruit flavors. Excellent summer drinking. ALCOHOLNIZM (59), WARWICK, USA Jun 18, 2009 GREAT LOOKING BEER, GOLDEN REDISH COLOR WITH A NICE CREAMY HEAD THAT NEVER GOES AWAY, NOT MUCH AROMA BUT GREAT FRUITY YET BITTER FLAVOR, SEEMS LIGHT ON THE HOPS COMPARED TO OTHER IPA’S BUT A GOOD IPA TO INTRODUCE TO SOMEONE NEW TO GOOD BEERS . AWESOME PAIRED WITH A BBQ ON A NICE DAY! dnstone (135), , New Jersey, USA Jun 18, 2009 An interesting balance of hop and fruit. A very mild IPA (especially for DFH) and apricot that it refreshing; natural ingredients are nice so this doesnt end up tasting syrupy. Would be interested to try a higher hopped version of this beer. Swalden28 (1439), McKinney, Texas, USA Jun 13, 2009 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a very nice looking deep, clear amber with off-white head. Aroma of apricot and malt. Flavor is malty, fruity, apricot, some tartness, an odd bitter at the end, but a VERY well balanced beer. Mouth feel is medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, a very enjoyable, refreshing beer!!! Very good!
