Poured into pint glass from bottle. Cloudy amber color with medium-sized, bubbly off-white head. Aroma was fruity, with apricot scents obviously, and had some floral and perhaps citrus hops, with a bit of caramel malt and some light nutmeg and brown sugar. Taste was sweet and fruity early, giving way to a bitter alcohol finish. The beer was fizzy with good carbonation, had a light mouthfeel, with some spicyness, and a dry finish.

A 12-oz bottle shared by brewfiend. Pours a orane-copper brew with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet apricots, a touch of grapefruit, and something that reminds me of those sugar candy cigarettes. Taste is tangy, some metalic acidity, and a dry finish. It’s different.

Dark amber body with plenty of foamy white head. Nice apricot nose with some faint floral hops and cherry. Cherry cough medicine taste with faint apricot taste.

Nice clean color out of the bottle, rich amber bordering on copper. Not sure they even used apricots in this. The fruit aroma is non-existant. However there are some pretty good citrus and hoppy aromas in the nose, classis IPA. Medium to light in body, this drink was crisp and refreshing. I love the style, but I was just expecting more out of this one.

Pour was a nice rich copper color with an ample three finger tall, white head that was some what rocky. It receded slowly and left decent lacing. The initial aroma was a very nice blast of apricot and butter. Very creamy. As it opened up the floral hops came on strong, giving it a nice balance to the apricot aroma. Not much in the way of pine or citrus aroma in this IPA. The flavor was tart initially but as it came to life the floral hops took over eliminating much in the way of fruity flavors. Nice crisp finish with the typical solid DFH mouthfeel. Surprisingly I like this beer. I thought it was going to be gimmicky but it wasn’t.

Pours a very clean darkish amber with a medium head. Aroma is flowery (sort of like dish soap), Flavor does have a hop bite but again with the hints of dish soap. Not really any apricot either. Not very good.

I am a very big fan of this beer. I have it on tap at my apartment. Notes of apricot and a small amount of hops. a very enjoyable beer all year round.

I can just barely detect the apricots, but If I hadn’t known i wouldn’t have picked up on it. it pours a nice amber color. not much hop bitterness. this beer just feels too heavy and has an odd astringency to it. And the apricot doesn’t do much for me. Not a huge fan.
