On tap @ Proof Brewing Company. Lighter bodied IPA with a off-sweet finish due to the light apricot presence. Wouldn’t call it it a fruit beer by any means, but an IPA first with a fruit/floral finish, which can be said about most IPA’s anyway. Solid session beer.

Bottle. Pours a orange color with white head. Apricot, slight soapy, grainy aromas. Apricot, old apples, herbal hop flavors.

Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is fruity malt, apricot, and pine. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with some fruit notes and slight apricot flavors. Finishes with earthy, pine hops.

Amber pour, quick white head. Nose is caramel malt, whiff of alcohol. Bitter. Middle is malt backbone, very soft apricots, something vaguely vegetal. Finish shows bitterness from alcohol and hops. Not my favorite Dogfish offering.

Aroma is sweet malty and fruity. There’s not that much in the aroma that gives away the apricots though. Taste is heavy and distinct. Caramels and malts sets like a lump of wood in the center of the mouth, and it’s not super hoppy but the hops are there. I was expecting much more apricots in here, they are there, but they don’t take over. In the aftertaste I actually catch a sting of alcohol, but the pleasant bitterness weighs more and this is an excellent beer. Not the best, but really good.

Average looking yellow pour with medium sized white head. Nose of light apricot, mixed fruit jelly, yeast, and bread crust. This is the most balanced IPA I have ever had. The hops are present and bitter, but evened out against all the other ingredients. Some IPA’s allow the hops to overpower everything else. Not so here. The apricot is subtle but integral. I really like this. Drank 2 pints of it at on tap @ Heritage Tavern in Madison, Wisconsin.

Amber with small head. Slight dank apricot aroma. Taste- Mello fruitiness with some bready malt. Notes of Apple and apricot. Low bitterness for an IPA. Creamy mouthfeel. I don’t love it but it’s good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber color ; perfect white head . Aroma of pine , caramel and light apricot notes . Balanced mix of hop , fruits and caramel malt in taste. Decent but not overwhelming bitterness. Interesting combination of IPA and fruits.

Aprihop pours beautifully, the medium amber fluid filling the glass; the head is thick, dense, very rich with a color reminiscent of French vanilla ice cream. The aroma is light citrus and spice, but the very prominent heady apricot in the air is a memory of that damnable tree at that moment when it was loaded with perfectly ripe fruits; not one over the edge, but all of them about to be. I tip the glass, the apricots spilling their honey into my mouth, over my tongue, the syrupy liquid draping itself like a sweet, spicy blanket over my taste buds. The body is buoyed with energy, but is not overbearingly active. I find this a bit sweet on the forward, but as I swallow and the tastes and flavors evolve, a slight bittering stings the edges and tender spots; the syrup morphing and actually drying my gums and the inside of my lips. A comfortably complexity is my experience here, and I’m feeling a bit sad that I won’t see this again for a while.

There are stone fruit fragrances on the nose but the apricot is more subtle than strong. Tastes of more stone fruit, pine and citrus. Very smooth but not very bitter.

Bottle, amber pour, white head, nose and taste are apricots, oh yeah, citrus galore
