Nice slightly clowdy copper color and a thin head The aroma is three parts hops, one part a caramely malty sweetness, then one part dried fruit. The flavor is top notch. You first feel like its a hardcore IPA, then the end leads you to semi-chalky taste from the apricots. There really isnt much room for the apricots to get their two cents in, as its all good ol' IPA up front, then some notes from the fruit.

I gotta agree with SpringsLicker, this is not a fruit beer. 12oz bottle. Served @ 51 degrees. Orange color that had some red to it. I got a HUGE off white head (probably my fault) that stuck around for a long time. Floaties. When the head died down, I was able to smell a nice floral hops aroma that was somewhat jammy and had hints of apricot. The taste was brown sugar, sweet malt, that turned into a bitter flavor-bomb with subtle apricots and a nice floral hops flavor. The finish was dry with some residual fruit flavors. The apricots, in this beer, are well integrated into the flavor profile. They didn’t seem put of place and meld well with the other flavors. Had I not known, I don’t think I would have known this was brewed with apricots while drinking it. A few minutes after I was done, I did get the sensation that I had just finished eating an apricot, maybe when the hops wore off. Thanks Jay!

12 oz. bottle shared with Lubiere. App.: med.-amber with a slightly off-white, greenish-hued head. Aroma: dark, roasted, burnt notes that remind me of over-cooked beef that’s very rare in the centre (bizarre). Hidden behind that mess is a touch of apricot and a bit of wood. Palate: med.-full body and low carbonation. Flav.: sweet, apricot, malty, a bit of that burnt roast flavour. An alcoholic finish and moderate bitterness. VERY strange and out of balance. This was a disappointment. I don’t know what I expected, but this wasn’t it.

Interesting banana and hop aroma. Bittersweet grapefruit and hop flavor. I detected no apricot. Banana finish. Copper gold color, no head, little carbonation. Too heavy and grapefruit is not a great beer flavor. Dogfish is quite popular around here, but I’ve never had one I liked. I’ll keep trying.

Pours a clear amber with a thin film white head. Aroma is lightly sweet fruit with just a hint of grain and some dough. Flavor is initially acidic then light malt and hops and then more acid only with a fruit undertone this time. Light to medium body, somewhat thin texture. Finishes bitter and fruity.

Weird beer, sort of hit or miss I guess. Pours orange with a thin head. Aroma mainly hops and a slight bit of apricot. More of an IPA and not as much fruit got through...apricots are overwhelming. Decent, but I prefer their regular IPAs.

Orange amber w/a lasting light beige head. Woody and herbal hop aroma w/a little bready malt. Light caramel and faintly fruity apricot aroma as it warms. Balanced just to pleasant bitter; light grainy malt to balance the light herbal hop flavor in the finish and aftertaste. Finish is semi dry; light fruitiness, but apricot is still not strong. Fuller medium body, lower carbonation with a light astringency; well hidden alcohol. I was fearing the worst before I smelled and tasted this beer, but thankfully the apricot character of this beers adds to it, and does not dominate any aspect. It's actually a very good IPA and seems very difficult to pick any apricot character out of it.
