Poured from 12oz bottle, hard to believe I haven’t rated this one yet, pours a clear dark amber red with a white head, aroma has a nice amount of fruit and apricot but has a touch of hops too, the flavor has a light amount of fruit on the front end with a finish of sweet malt, not great by any means but still drinkable.

Pours an amber gold with a thin white head. Aroma of bitter citrusy hops, tropical fruit, sweet caramel malt. Taste is bitter grapefruit, slightly sweet and fruity, maybe a touch of apricot. Not much apricot but a tasty ipa.

On tap at Ridgewood (Raleigh). Pours amber with light head. Very mild sweet apricot aroma. Not sure if the combo hop/apricot flavor hits the spot, though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours amber-copper with small head. Aroma of spicy, fruity citrus hops. There is a little fruit flavor in the malt base, but mostly the apricots add a fruity dimension to the hops. Tasty with a nice dry minimally bitter finish. Not as much aroma as I like, but still a delicious beer.

Pours a transparent copper with a foamy white head. Has a floral aroma. Flavor is floral hops and semisweet apricot, almost sour. This is a very pleasant fruit ipa.

Very pleasant aroma of apricot and citrus. Taste is strong picot, citrus, grapefruit, bittersweet, some alcohol but blended nicely. A good beer to sip on in the spring or summer!

Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours copper colored with a faint white head leaving some lacing. Aroma has sweet stone fruits, light citrus, pine and some resin. Taste is of sweet fruits, resin, some orange and some pine. Some apricot. Light to medium bodied and sticky. Finishes more sweet than bitter, on the bittersweet scale, with some length. Solid, tasty brew, without a lot of excitement.

Poured from bottle to glass. Orange straw hue with fizzy white head. Aroma is citrus, melon, apricot, tangerine, sulphur. Mouthfeel is medium light with moderate carbonation. Flavor is dry with a nice bitter following and a CO2 sharpness in the finish. Overall this is a decent IPA.

12 ounce bottle into signature tulip glass, 2014 bottling. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange copper color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Awesome aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops, apricot, and moderate malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of grapefruit, apricot, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, bread, floral, grass, light pine, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of earthy floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, apricot, orange peel, lemon zest, caramel, bread, floral, grass, and light pine on the finish for a good bit. Very nice flavor balance of citrus hops, apricot, and moderate malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent fruited IPA. All around great balance and complexity of hop, apricot, and malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.
