COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a well balanced amber colored ale with a clean hoppy finish. The malt bill included some Munich malt to add a nice bready flavor as well as some Crystal malt for a touch of sweetness (not too sweet!) and a pinch of Carafa III for color.

Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand give the beer a unique, fruity (almost grapelike) aroma and flavor. Southern Cross hops (also from NZ) provide just enough bitterness to balance the complex malt profile. We chose Chico yeast to keep the beer fairly dry (not icky!) and to give us some subtle fruity esters while letting the other ingredients shine through.

This beer will pair nicely with a juicy wood grilled burger.

Reviewed back in 2010 - This one is a nice amber. This amber was right down my alley since it had one of my favorite hops in there. Nelson Sauvin. If you’re never had this hop, it adds a nice grape flavor to the beer. The hops shined through nicely. It was crisp and easy to drink at 6.6%

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2010 Draft at DFH with Andrew. Pours a dark amber red body with slight haze and thin white lacing. Aroma is fresh hop. Mouthfeel is juicy hop in the start, finishes with a great dry pine hop. Overall I would’ve pinned this to be an ipa, but its got to be one of the best amber ales out there.

On tap at the brewpub. I love this beer, so sessionable. Ultra juicy hop taste.. Finishes medium bitter. They should release this in bottles as a year round staple. For amber ale, best in style.

From a cask poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Nice light hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Tap. Pours clear tawny with an average, frothy beige head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cookie, caramel), average hops (earthy, herbal), and light esters (fruity) with notes of sweat and dank, grassy hops. Flavor is heavy malt (bread, cookie, caramel, toasted), average hops (earthy, herbal, woody), and light esters (fruity) with notes of dank, grassy hops. Medium body, low warmth and creaminess, high carbonation and a dry finish.

On tap @ the Brewpub, Rehoboth De-Cloudy amber pour w/a moderate off white head. Had some hop bite on the front end, than followed up w/some roasted malt on the finish. Fairly dry, kind of had a lot going on w/the hop & the malt mixed togather. This seamed like a hopped up version of their Bam Bam Baja to me, it was pretty good, but I liked that one better
