4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Braudog (5026) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Bottle. As you pour this, at first you think it’ll be golden. But it settles into a red, almost juice-looking thing. Whatever head it started with disappears almost immediately, finalizing the kool aid visuals. The aroma is similarly fruity, but also hints at some alcohol, not unlike some fruit wines or the strawberry syrup at IHOP. This drinks with the ease of something that comes in a box with children’s meals ... sweet, fruity and plain yummy. There’s no way I’d predict there was 8% alcohol in this. Where’s my happy meal? 4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 pottygok (346) - Ohio, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Aroma: Very complex and winey aromas--dried fruit, honey, berry with hints of earthy yeast aromas.
Appearance: Clear bright amber with minimal head.
Taste: Medium-heavy sweetness with light bitterness and medium sourness to balance.
Palate: Full body, thick oily texture, soft carbonation, long fruity finish.
Overall: Wow! This has so many flavors working with each other and against each other. Every sip reveals something different, but still in harmony with the others. Nothing unpleasant here, though a bit too fruity for my taste. Still, this is really well done.

The smell is of a rich honey, the color is a true clear bronze with a nice head that eventually dissipates. A very unique, great beer. The hazelnut/pomegranate taste is terrific. 9.5 BD 8.5Joek- reminds me of a hard cider

750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy bronze hue with a medium beige head with good retention. Aroma is doughy and full of clovey phenols, honey, grain, fried corn tortilla, earthy. Taste is lightly sweet and savory before turning on a lightly sour note (from the pomegranates, I imagine). Body is a little on the thin side. This is really well made and put together; quite tasty.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 jsmerig (798) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Pours a clear light brown with a light tan head. Aroma of grapes and musty malt. Taste is complex combination of grapes and cherries with a strong corn flavor in the lingering aftertaste. Carbonation is bright and mouthfeel is crisp. Worth a bomber or two.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 BeanDip (117) - Florida, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Draft: Okay...I stole a few sips of this from my friend...the head had dissipated by the time I sampled it but the beer was deep golden and fairly clear.
The nose really took me by surprise. At first I was overwhelmed a bit by the malty-yeastiness but as I took it in...lots of honey and clover. Interesting spicy notes I can’t quite describe. Would love to try again (and not after a Bitches Brew and Olde School)
Medium body and light carbonation. Felt smooth. One of the most unique beer tasting experiences I have had in awhile.
