4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: This one poured a reddish brown color with a slightly reddish hue head. I definitely smell mixed berries in this one. I can smell a pretty prevelant amount of blueberry. The taste is indeed warm, as the description says. The flavor seems a tad lacking here. As I continue to drink this one, I definitely begin to taste the blueberry flavor make itself known. I notice just a hint of a banana flavor on the palate as I continue to take sips from this one, but itís mild at best and gone as soon as I taste it. I am not a big fruit beer fan, but this is enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very expensive, but has its place as an after-dinner beer with dessert. The fruit flavors arenít readily apparent, but make themselves known in the aftertaste. Pours a very rich, deep caramel color with little to no head.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ruby colour with a light red head. Faint berries and a bit of cider to the nose. Kind of an oily character to the palate. Faint berries and acidic flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reddish purple color, pinkish head. Nose of mild berries, malt. Almost medium bodied, slight tart/sweet flavor, mild fruitness and spicy bitterness, decent interplay of elements. Very understated in most aspects, hard to believe its 10% but I did feel it. Was fairly enjoyable. Maybe a nice one to start the ladies with:) But all in all, for $12 a pop, I expect more.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper color with a thick head. Strong aroma of wheat with something that reminded me of carrots. Lots of wheat and blueberries. The coriander jumps out a little too much for me. Okay, but so not worth a 750mL bottle and its price.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear ruby red brown brew with a thick pinkish white head. Fast dissolving head and leaves a sparce lacing. Aroma is sweet berries, roasted malt, and a touch of pepper. Taste is highly carbonated, tart berries, more spice and hints of coriander & cinnamon. Finish is medium body, a little dry and a tart aftertaste.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This bottle was exceptionally expensive. Next time I donít think I will be dropping the $13 for a 750ml. Pour is orange/amber (Iím not seeing the purple) with only wisps of small white bubbles. Aroma is mild fruit with just a touch of Belgian character, mostly sweetness. Flavor is light and sweet with a noticeable but mild blue/black berry flavor. Body is actually a bit watery, with a sticky finish. Nothing special here. The base Belgian beer could be better, and the fruit character could be better. Overall a disappointment for such an expensive beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear reddish-purple-brown pour with a short, sticky head. Alcoholic fruity aroma. The blueberries and blackberries hit you immediately, but are soon followed by a malt-liquor like flavor mixed with fake sugary fruits. The alcohol is not masked at all. Somewhat disappointing. I thought the guy on the bottle looked like Jimmy Stewart with a black eye.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 750 ml bottle. Ruby red pour - like a red zinfandel - with a tight white head - sticky lacing. Faint fruity aroma with brief hints of alcohol. Some intial berry flavors are encountered and after a while some toffee notes take over. Sweet, malty back end with some
nutty accents. Mouthfeel is thick and rich and the 10% abv is hidden well. A nice one to savor over and spend some time with. Canít figure out if the guy on the label looks more like Dustin Hoffman or Huey Lewis?
