Mar 30, 2007 750 ml bottle. Pours a clear purplish ruby red color with a medium white fluffy head. Aroma is of faint berries, grapes,raspberries, spice and boo berry cereal. Taste is berryish with hints of blueberry,raspberry, spicy hops and grapes. Slightly similar to Midas Touch minus the strong honey presence. Alcohol well hidden. Interesting brew.

Aug 14, 2008 750 ml bottle from Chuck’s Liquor in Bowling Green. Poured a clear mahogany color with a small whitish head...approximately one finger. Aroma was very complex. Sweet malt combined with various over ripe fruits. Flavor was solid with some fruit flavor and a malty balance. Mouthfeel was creamy. Alcohol was well masked. Very good beer, though not as good as the Red & White.

Jun 3, 2009 bottle, from carny77, Good aroma, sweet, like it says raspberry & blueberry, sugary. Clean brownish orange color, good head that faded quickly, ok lace. Sweet flavor, fruity with a bitter sour streak about it. medium body, oily viscous mouthfeel, sweet kind of dry finish. Well I was liking it most of the time, nice aroma, looked good with initial pour. Sweet, but not overbearing, but I would get this odd taste, kind of woody, but not as straight forward, I dunno, wasn’t able to place it, but it was on the finish.

Feb 15, 2008 750 mL bottle - this one had been sitting around since the fall as i’m not that big on fruit beers; yet this was a tasty one; pours clear and light amber with thin white head; blueberry aromas mixed with stale hops and yeast; flavors are mild by DFH standards, but that was nice for a change; drinks smooth and slightly malty; fruit flavors are at a pleasant level that is never overpowering

May 31, 2007 Bottle. Pours amber with rose highlights. Pretty! Quickly disappearing white/rose head. Struggling to find any complexity on the nose. Vaguely reminiscent of a dry rose wine. Creamy with decent carbonation. Malty on the palate. Hint of blueberry. Dry. Hides the 10% well. Slightly disappointing.

Apr 20, 2007 The aroma is huge bluberry, semisweet..Pours a blood red with a small white head.Flavor is fullon berries..The alcohol creeps up on you on the back end with a small amount of bitterness.

Jun 23, 2008 Aroma is very berryish,with someone kind of soapy off yeast backing, taste is slightly sour blackberry,with a bitter drying finish,slightly astringent,alcohol only subtlely hinted at,with definite warming of the tummy. I’m drinking on a warm humid night where a perky tart fruit beer is hitting the spot,doesn’t leave that thickish afterfeel on the tongue,so its even refreshing in its own way. Enjoyable is certain circumstances

Jul 31, 2007 Amber colored with beer with a very small slight white head. A tiny bit of raspberry in the aroma and not much else. This beer is basically just a big malt forward beer with a bit of berry in the background. Easy to drink and buzz inducing.
