This brew is a reddish color with a medium pinkish-white head that fizzes away quickly. Spots of lacing. Aroma of tart berries and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of sour blueberries and biscuity malt, plus some mildly astringent alcohol flavors. The finish is tart and fruity with notes of yeast and malt left over. Slightly above average overall. MadMan (497), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a purplish tint to it and a small ring of white head. Aroma is faint and has some belgian like character to it as well as a hint of sweet fruit cocktail. Flavor is surprisingly bland, some faint tartness balanced by a sweet maltiness, no real fruit flavor but the blueberry comes through a shade. All this comes to a dry spicy finish. Amazing how warm this one feels....the strength of it does not come through anywhere else. Thinner in body with active but very light carbonation. Just seems like there’s something missing in this one, it’s an easy drinking strong beer though. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 20, 2008 Draft – Brickskeller. Dark hazed amberish pink, creamy off white head. Berry bubblegum and citrus nose warms to light bready tones throughout. Sweet dark berry wine cooler flavors flow into a light juicy citrusy ending. ABV shines well. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, fruity finish. This misses the mark for a fruit beer in my opinion. I suppose they can’t all be gems… kp (8600), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2007 Copper color with a thick head. Strong aroma of wheat with something that reminded me of carrots. Lots of wheat and blueberries. The coriander jumps out a little too much for me. Okay, but so not worth a 750mL bottle and its price. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

Nice blueberry and blacberry hints in the aroma, light caramel. Taste is blueberry, caramel, and some alcohol. Overall pretty easy drinking for a 10% brew. ante (2977), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2008 Bottled. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a frothy off-white foam. Rather stale and dusty aroma of neutral yeast, almonds and mild blueberries. Medium to full-bodied with notes of yeast, mild pepper, blueberry jam and mild grass. Dryish finish of yeast and mild spices with rather dense jammy undertones of blackberries and sweet blueberries. Decent, the berry part felt quite dumbed down. jeffc666 (1899), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Lightly hazed amber body with a nice dense off-white head. The aroma is surprisingly lacking in fruitiess, clean and fairly neutral. The flavor is interesting, bitter, minimal fruit. Ok but quite of boring.
