4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 MikeyMalts (64) - Davis, California, USA - SEP 12, 201112oz bottle from friend. Poured into tulip glass. Appearance: Pours a hazy light amber color. Initial rocky white head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma: Sweet pine notes, grapefruit, citrus, some oak, brandy, some molasses. Taste: Sweet malts mixed deliciously with hop bitterness. Grass. Pine. Hops not overwhelming, mellowed out by oak. Molasses, oak. Palate: Med-Full bodied, velvet smoothness, nice finish, no lingering bitterness. Another great one from DFH, try this one if you find it. I’m usually not a fan of IPAs, but this one is great.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Koskela (145) - Marysville, California, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Malty sweet aroma and a bit hoppy a full bodied smell with a cloudy amber color with a small white head. The taste is sweet hoppy tangy with a wine flavor aftertaste. The beer almost expands in your mouth with the high corbonation. There is a slight alcohol feel with this complex full bodied brew.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 mikedR (410) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Really starting to like these aged IPAs. This one's a whopper. Strong hop citrus aroma. More resin forward in flavor, but not syrupy. The aging imparts "something" and also takes an edge off the bitterness. Good malt backbone too. Nice ... Really nice. 10% ABV -- wow. A-.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BlowOffTube (85) - Michigan, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Very good. Its like a lighter barley wine. Pours a translucent rust color with a light white head. Smell is booze, caramel, and sweet oak. Taste is in your face hops with an oak lingering flavor and a big malt backbone which makes it more of a barley wine. Still awesome stuff that I’ll drink again.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Scrapersnbeer (1018) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Massive dose of sharp resinous hops and woody rot background. Sinister, cold looking orange with some slow moving carbonation. This stuff is very bitter, but I’d say the sweet oak aging really shines. Whereas a casked porter may taste vanilla, all the dry hopping move this away from rum or brandy more towards scotch, although I wouldn’t go so far as to say it tastes like whiskey. The feel is alarmingly smooth, I would never peg it as over 8%, let alone 10. Bottled 5/21/13.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bière-Luc (358) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 9, 2013
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 bagalagalaga (64) - Indiana, USA - JUN 5, 2013
The imperial amount of alcohol makes this one pretty formidable. The hops are piled on thick, with some sweetness underneath. I don’t know if I can pick out any barrel aging flavors when there is such an insane amount of hops anyway. I think the 90-minute IPA still stands as my favorite Dogfish Head beer, this one is pretty nice too though.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jmcgavin12 (201) - Madison, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Pours amber with a bit of frothy head. Lots of yeast and alcohol on the aroma with a large amount of oak smoke and delicious hop bitterness. A complex beer with a lot of subetly but an overall amazing beer to enjoy
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Brewdork (67) - Sanford, Florida, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Pours orange with rich white head. Spicy hop aroma with hints of oak and alcohol. Very smooth and sweet flavor up front that transitions nicely into hoppy goodness and oaky complexity. Definite alcohol presence without being heavy-handed.

Great brew. Nice piney hop taste, has a great full body. Nice orange color, taste is like liquid hops perfectly blended together.

somewhat clooudy darker orange yellow with small lacing off-white foam head. Aroma is hoppy, so is taste. Nice bitter beer. Aftertaste is long lasting, nice beer. (Houston 201306)
