Aroma is fruity, peach, citrus, oak, lightly earthy with a good amount of sweet malt. Taste is very sweet initially then changes rather quickly to oaky, and citrus, earthy hops. Light hop bitterness in the finish some warming alcohol notes. Thick, syrupy body that I found to be a bit cloying. Interesting beer though. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2005 12oz bottle-thanks to Hopdog for this one. pours a deep orange hue-clear with a sudsy white head. aroma of "beer", wood, some sweet hops and some similar malt/sweetness to the 90 min. I think the aroma is pretty damn nice actually. I dont really smell any oak notes-not the aroma i was expecting. Ok, this is where the beer takes a turn for the worse. Flavors are lactic sourness, vineous with some twangy hop zest akin to the 90 min. Cloying sweetness made this pretty hard to drink. Palate is pretty full but fizzy. Some green apple notes come out in the finish. There is alot going on in this beer, but thats not a good thing. Has that characteristic DFH yeast dryness/note that i have never liked. Alcohol is very well hidden i must admit. Some oaky flavors come out in the long finish as it warmed to 60degrees. worth a try,but not a revisit. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Clear dark amber, thin white fizzy head. Interesting nose of wood, earth, pineapple, light citrus, a tiny shot of vanilla, with a slight funky undertone. Basically, the flavor IMO, is a muted version of the 90 Minute on wood with just a hint of citrus showing up. Really not that much more going on here, but then again maybe my hopes were too high. Full bodied, prickly carbonation, drying semi-bitter finish. It’s good and certainly worth a try, but I’ll stick to my standard 90 Min any day of the week...

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2006 12 oz bottle. Thanks to JHop. Very sweet fruity citrus aromas. Very apricot and pineapple. Deep amber with a nice head. Flavor started nice with some sweet malts and fruity hops. The finish took on a strange bitterness that I didn’t like as much. Still not bad at all. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2005 Translucent orange in color with a skittish head. Aroma has a small hoppy sense too it but it’s mostly overshadowed by oak and honey. Flavor is so much smoother than 90 minute, so much that this doesn’t hold up to Imperial IPA standards - better suited for American Strong Ale. Cedar, oak, honey, maple and vanilla fudge round it out ever so smoothly. Thanks to CaptainCougar for sharing this rarity! ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Slightly hazy amber, moderate head with decent lacing and retention. Aroma is lightly hoppy with some vanilla notes. Caramel backing with some more malt depth (wood). Sweet finish with a medium body. Not really like other IIPAs, too sweet for me to consider it one. More ’meh’ than anything.
