4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
12oz bottle Iíve had aging for a few months. Pour is a nice dark amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is wonderful tons of fresh hops (even after sitting a few months) citrus, vanilla, woody oak notes go nicely with the IPA bitterness. This tastes like an oak aged 90 minute but with a little added complexity from the English yeast. This is a beautiful beer, one of my favorites. Will have for on and on, despite 15$ a 4pk (and Iím in Delaware lol) great stuff

Slightly hoppy nose, golden amber color. Taste starts out with a few hops before turning to oak and then finishes with hops. Slightly thick mouth feel.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma has a lot of citrus hops with distinct caramel malt undertones, the 90 minute is also noticeable; slightly oaky too. Taste is moderately sweet and more bitter in the finish. Lighter body, thinner on the palate, and good carbonation. A really nice beer.

Cerveza perfectamente balanceada para la potencia de alcohol que posee. El amargor my bien logrado se mezcla perfectamente con las notas de la madera. Mejora con la temperatura hasta cierto grado.

This is a hard core beer! I appreciated the overall quality of the brew, but didnít fall in love with the taste, otherwise I would have rated it slightly higher. Meant for sipping @ 10% ABV. Has a strong flavor that consists mainly of oak and hops backed my some light fruity flavors. Medium brown/copper color with thick body and decent amount of carbination. Not sure if itís worth $3-4 a beer, but as with a lot of those DFH 4-packs, you are paying a little bit of a premium to sample the uniqueness of the beer.
