Nate (2162), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 27, 2008 From bottle at Smokin’ Joes. Fruity, juicy, oak, vanilla, apricots. Superbly fragrant nose, smooth and intoxicating. Can’t stop sniffing. Golden amber clear body, brilliant, with foamy off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy body, with meium carbonation and alcohol warming. Starts with big alcohol hit, mild vanilla and light brown sugar. Very sweet, with sugary toffee notes, oak smoothness, and light butterscotch. Finishes smooth and creamy, with Irish whiskey and caramel. Smooth sweet oaky finish and warming after. For an impy IPA, not much hop bitterness.

overall 20 out of 20 pumpmaster (249), Florida, USA Jul 3, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at Big C Liquors in Orlando, Fl for about $3.00 Very good. daforrds (177), richmond, Indiana, USA Jun 30, 2008 when the bell rings the fighters move toward each other and begin with a slow pace, just jabbing and circling...they continue to feel one another out throwing the occasional hook and uppercut for about 6 rounds. round 7 opens and it is like a puerto rico /mexico brawl (like cotto/margarito will be). round 10 hits and the body blows have taken their toll and down goes the whirlwind head hunter from mexico, only to rise at the count of 6 and make it to round 11...the pace slows until the grande finale, and with one last body blow the puerto rican fighter has ended the fight with mexico slumped over in agony on the matt. urraca (28), New Jersey, USA Jun 29, 2008 12oz bottle from Oaktree. Amber color with a tan/off white head. Very aromatic with vanilla and other sweets. Very caramel-ly but with a bit of an alcoholic bite taste. But went down smooth, very enjoyable and will buy again. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 29, 2008 Pours a clear orange colour with a full fluffy wihte head. Floraly aromatic with soft citrusy character. Taste is fruity, hoppy with subtle oak undertones. Finishes crisp and refreshing.
