Bottle pours a clear dark amber color with a dense white head. Very nice lacing on the glass. Aroma instantly reminds me of pineapple upside down cake, followed by notes of citrus, piney hops, and simple syrup. Flavor is noticeably sweet at first, caramel and sweet malts. Then picks up additional flavors of the hops. As it warms oak and vanilla flavors appear as well. Nice bitterness in the finish. I think the 10% is fairly well hidden. Delicious beer with a very unique flavor.

Jun 30, 2008 when the bell rings the fighters move toward each other and begin with a slow pace, just jabbing and circling...they continue to feel one another out throwing the occasional hook and uppercut for about 6 rounds. round 7 opens and it is like a puerto rico /mexico brawl (like cotto/margarito will be). round 10 hits and the body blows have taken their toll and down goes the whirlwind head hunter from mexico, only to rise at the count of 6 and make it to round 11...the pace slows until the grande finale, and with one last body blow the puerto rican fighter has ended the fight with mexico slumped over in agony on the matt.

Jun 29, 2008 12oz bottle from Oaktree. Amber color with a tan/off white head. Very aromatic with vanilla and other sweets. Very caramel-ly but with a bit of an alcoholic bite taste. But went down smooth, very enjoyable and will buy again.

Jun 29, 2008 Pours a clear orange colour with a full fluffy wihte head. Floraly aromatic with soft citrusy character. Taste is fruity, hoppy with subtle oak undertones. Finishes crisp and refreshing.
