COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cafe de Que? is 5% ABV milk stout conceived by members of our packaging team. This rich, dark beer was brewed with plantains, Dominican coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, lactose, wheat, Maris Otter malt, a blend of three roasted malt varieties, and English First Gold hops. It presents a deft balance of spice, roast and coffee notes culminating in a dry, fruity, chocolaty finish. Enjoy this sessionable winter warmer with our classic salmon sandwich or just with friends!

Thanks to Mike for bringing this to a recent tasting. Served in a snifter. The pour brings a black-bodied beer with a good mocha head and a bit of lacing. The nose reveals its spicing as cinnamon and nutmeg come through along with some coffee and roast. Itís quite roasty at the front, fading into spice and coffee as it warms. The taste isnít quite as spicy and leaves mostly just roasted malt and a bit of light chocolate. Disappointing as the nose was really nice and I liked the interplay. Body is a bit too thin. Overall, the nose was really nice and I liked the nutmeg and coffee combo, but the taste and body failed to deliver on the initial promise. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 01-17-2011

On tap @ the Brewpub, Rehoboth Beach De-Deep black pour w/no head & some good lacing. Strong coffee aroma. Flavors of coffee right away, with overtones of some chocolate & roasted malt. Had a fair amount of carbonation for a stout. Smooth & easy to drink-as long as you are a coffee drinker! Nice before/after dinner brew, great on a cold day! Long full finish, solid brew.
