A dark red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma contains notes of coffee and chocolate as well as hints of leather on a slightly sour background. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee and roasted malt leading to a dry end that also contains notes of chocolate.

Bottle from Big Ridge Liquor Store, Surrey
Black color; medium sized compact head. Mild aroma of heavily roasted malts and light aroma of dark chocolate. The mothfeel is initially smooth (high carbonation), but more acidic later; strong flavor of roasted malts; too strong flavor of liquorice too; compared to an ordinary American Stout, the final is quite short, with a bit of salty liquorice.
Balanced, a bit different than your usual Stout, but not impressive.
