Bottle at Spuytin Duyvil. Yes, yes, all the time on this beer has paid off. I hear this beer was horrible when it first came out but it sure was tasty when i had it. Very peachy and dry with a descent aroma. On the funky side as well. I like it.

Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden body. Dry peach oak abv musky and sourness. A bit of woodiness and sour peach acidity. A good bottle with plenty of time on it.

Jun 25, 2008 "Really Old Beers and Really Stinky Cheeses" tasting session at ACBF 2008. From the 2004(03?) bottling. This was a truly unique experience. If you tried this beer when it was first released and get another chance to have a bottle, don’t let that original experience color your opinion. Apparently when it was originally bottled, it took this beer over a year and a half to bottle condition because of the acidity which is why lots of the early ratings are so low. When I had it it had a nice touch of peach with nearly perfectly-balanced sour character. A real treat.

Jun 20, 2008 From a 12 fl. oz. bottle, which was bottled 05/15/08. Pours a hazy, cloudy orange with almost no head. The fruity aroma overpowers any other malts, hops, or barley aromas. It smells more like a wine cooler. The taste is very dry and extremely sour, like lemon...but not lemony in flavor. It’s like a sour candy. It really didn’t appeal to me but as far as the style goes, I think they pulled it off OK. Still my lower rating is biased on my taste buds’ impressions, not the style.

Jun 11, 2008 2004 bottle at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a light orange with no head. Aroma of sweet peaches. It tasted just like biting into a sour, juicy peach. Very smooth, extremely drinkable, and quite delicious.

Jun 11, 2008 Bottle at Spuyten Duyvil. Aroma says "peach cider" or "peach orchard" to me, sweetish peaches. Flavor very tart peaches, cider-like finish. Very refreshing. Great stuff.
