3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This pours a hazy straw body with a smallish head that devolves into a halo rather rapidly. The aroma is a combo of fresh peaches and canned peaches with a mild tartness beneath. That tartness becomes a bit acidic in the flavor, but in a way that works. This gives a lemon-like tang to the drink, the peach flavor still recognizable but subdued. The fruit returns more solidly in the finish along with a mouth-watering sourness. If it wasn’t priced so high, I’d have more of this FRUIT BEER during the remaining warm days of the year.
DFH can call this a neo-Berliner Weisse if they like, but no Berliner Weisse is brewed with fruit. I’m surprized it’s labeled as such on the site.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a thin hazy dull straw with thin bright white head. Full jar of peach preserves hits the nose first. Behind that I get sweetness, tartness, yeastiness, earthiness, denim blue jeans and playing cards. The carbonation causes the initial tart taste to burst onto the palate. It starts with an acidic like tartness and then becomes increasingly lemony. The peach takes the flavor from start to finish and adds some balance. There’s also a pale malt note that turns more into sweet malts by midway and then back to pale to Munich malts at the finish. Very nice summer brew.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Poured a clear pale golden-yellow color. Head was thin, white, and reduced rapidly to a tattered bubbly film. The aromas were very subdued consisting of sour fruit, minimal citrus, and a slight whiff of cereal grain. Very acidic on the tongue up front with a sour fleshy fruit flavor. This acidity mellowed in waves, gradually fading to a delicate lingering malty sweetness accompanied by a pleasant but fleeting mild buttery caramel aftertaste. There was also an occasional hint of dry white wine. Very good. I much prefer this to the recent DFH Red & White/Black & Blue releases.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2008 Re-rate 6/17/08. Hazy gold pour with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipates. Grassy sour flavor. Smooth and tart easy to drink. I didnt get any peach flavor until late in the finish

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle… Cloudy straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Very subtle, restrained aroma; I can only pick out the faintest note of peach puree. Pungent flavor with subtle peach and lemon nuances. Heavily acidic and citric with a very crisp hop bite. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, sour, refreshing finish. It sweetens up a bit as it warms and begins to present some unsavory corn and mash notes in the nose. I enjoyed it more when thoroughly chilled.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Closest thing I have to a bowl is an old Johnnie Walker scotch glass, so that gets duties here. Pours a yellow/orange body, very fizzy, with a rapidly vanishing white head. Nothing more than a few white bubbles after 30 seconds. Man the body on this thing is full of carbonation, looks like a Sprite in the glass. Aroma is a bit muted, but I get some peaches, oranges and lemons in there. Tough to pull though. Fore of the tongue is very sour, full of peaches and lemons, and heavily astringent/acidic. Also get some wheat notes in there. Light to medium bodied, heavily carbonated. Finish is at first sour, then folds into a mellow sweetness that lingers for a good while. First example of this style, and it’s damn good. Excellent summer brew. I need more of this.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured hazy pale yellow color with fizzy whitish head. Aroma is large citrus melody, mostly peach, lime, and lemon, maybe a bit of grapefruit. Flavor is very very sour and peachy and lemony. Maybe some like this kinda beer but reminded me too much of a woodchuck cider gone peachy and bad.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
i know i am completely unfamiliar to this style, so i may come off a bit harsh...
on tap...hazy straw colored body with medium white head...aroma is large in lemon with small peach/apricot undertones to the basic wheat backbone..pleasant nose, but very minimal and basic...flavor is quite puckering with a large lemon juice backbone...peach is very subtle, and comes across more in the finish...body is quite musty and acidic (somewhat lambic-esque in nature)...wheat undertones as well...the slight over carbonation of this beer created a somewhat unpleasant mouthfeel (as well as its perceived "dryness")...interesting, but dont think id want another one

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Hazy cider-like body beneath a puny white head. Little peach in the nose. More lemon, yeast, wheat, and the air upon emptying a vacuum cleaner bag. Medoum body and fizzy. Acrid to the tongue. Unpleasant beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A slight aroma of peach and wheat. Taste is acidic and only slightly fruity. Thirst quenching but eh.
