12 oz bottle shared with willblake. Poured a hazy light yellow with a small white head. Aroma was fresh peach with a slightly soapy odor in the background. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Flavor was very crisp and tart with just a hint of funkiness. Nice beer that I would drink again.

Growler from BierKraft. Cloudy pale yellow beer with a thick white head that quickly fades back to nothing. Hightly carbonated. Aroma shows crisp wheat wiht a hint of lactic tartness and light breadiness. Light peachy aroma behind the wheat. Flavour is very refreshing, light-bodied, crisp and tart. Itís a pretty tame attempt at the style, but itís nice for the summer. After the opened growler sat in the fridge overnight, the acidity came up quite a bit.

Draft at Caponeís. The pour was hazy medium golden with minimal head. The aroma was peach, pale malt, and some tart funky yeast notes. Tastes tart, like a berliner weiss at its core, with some tart peach and funky yeasty flavors. Just OK.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2009 draft @ papago...color of cheap canned pineapple juice. aromas of wheat, lemon and tin. flavor...quite odd. wheat and unripe or sour apricot and watered down lemon juice. it has almost no sweetness to balance out the tart. i donít get any sticky sweetness other raters have mentioned...but i would like to try it from a bottle in a year or so...

tap at tenaya creek... tastes like sour peach water and grass. it leaves a lactic phlegm in the throat. again, meh. 5/3/5/3/14/3.0

12 oz bottle poured into a scotch glass (its the closest thing I have to a bowl). Pours extremely pale and murky with a small head. Aroma is metallic and full of artificial sweetener. Light tartness coming from the wheat but nothing in the realm of what I expect from a Berliner Weisse. Taste is up front artificial peach sweetness followed by light wheat tartness and finishes with cheap macro corn. Light bodied with an above average carbonation, artificial sweetness sticks to the cheeks (which is nasty). Low bitterness, overall seems cheap and gets a low grade for effort.

Draught at Blind Tiger. Hazy yellow to amber color, like pineapple juice, with a fizzing head. Aroma faintly of peach, with some yogurt and butter cookie (?) NICE puckering tartness in this one, with a bit of peachiness to balance it out. Lactic tartness really dominates here...but not overbearing and actually refreshing (think of biting into a grapefruit wedge). A touch of fruity, peachy sweetness is just enough to cut into the lactic acidity, but which still leaves that nice tartness that is supposed to define the peculiar style here. That being said, I personally might take just a small additional dab of syrup if I was in Berlin, but basically the sourness to sweet ratio is still nicely proportioned in the finished product.

Cloudy yellow in color with a diminishing head. Aromas of baking bread, peaches, and lemon. Very light citrus and peach, almost a Club Lemon taste and palate. Sour finish. Very interesting, good with food.

From a 12 oz bottle, cloudy pale yellow cloudy hue, creamy white head, smells sour, tastes even more sour and peachy, some wheat. Really did not enjoy, did not seem refreshing, too sour :( I feel like I missed something here.

12 oz. bottle. Poured out a hazy yellow color, with a thin white head. Not much lacing going on. Aromas are of lactic wheat, slightly acidic aromas, along with sour peaches. Flavors are of peaches, funky yeast, slight vinegar tastes as well. Decent body, slick mouthfeel. Slightly puckering at the end. Lactic acid finish. Decent beer overall. Light & refreshing.

12 oz bottle. Date code says bottled on 5/24/07. Hazy pale straw, with a thick creamy white head. Patchy lace.

Aroma is lightly sour with a touch of wheat.

Flavor is lemony and wheaty with a hint of peaches.

An interesting and tasty beer. Paired nicely with a couple pieces of Havarti cheese.
