3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle, rated 7/13/07. Pours a nice cloudy (!!!!) bright goldenrod color with rocky dense foam. Very nice unripened peach aroma. Flavor is bone dry, almost astringent, with lots of dry peachyness. IMHO, one of DFH better experiments and thank fictional deity they didnít make it 15%abv.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy, pale straw color with a thin, soap sudsy, white head that quickly disappeared. Light aroma of wheat, peach, and lemons. The flavor was decidedly sour with some wheat, peach, and a bit of lemon. Actually, it reminded me of when I was a kid and my father would mix whiskey sour mix in the blender when they had friends over. The aroma smelled like real peaches, but I have to say the flavor seemed more like imitation peach sweet tarts or packaged sour mix. Not worth the hype, or the price, in my opinion.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. I wanted to see what the hub bub was about this brew. Pours a straw hazen yellow. Aroma light lemony wheaten peach. The flavor was sharp, tart, slight peach, definitely not too sweet. Palate was light very crisp. Overall Iím pleased to have tried it as it may entice me to buy some more.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy white-yellow body, dense lasting stark white head. The aroma is lightly sweet, peach, lemon, wheat. The flavor is nice, lightly tart with a good nuttiness, the peach really adds a nice flavor twist while, thankfully, it is not overly sweet. The palate is light and crisp. Enjoyable and interesting. Glad to see that it is not an attempt at an Imperial Berliner Weisse, can you imagine! Ugghh...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Hazy straw gold color with nary a head and gentle carbonation. Aroma is sharp wheat, yeast, some funkiness, and a bit of lactic sourness. The aroma is mild. The taste is fruity upfront with a subtle peachiness and some barnyard funk, followed by some tart acidity that lingers into the finish. The sourness is not over the top, but present. On a whole, it is a restrained beer. Tasted cool it is seemingly simple, but as it warms, it gains some character. Easy to drink on a nice day, a nice fuitiness, a slight sourness and funkiness, and not a lot of alcohol.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, First taste of the style, Aroma is like skunked Natural Light to me (which iíve had quite often) no smell of peach or anything, taste is significantly better, nice tart taste with decent amount of acidity, dries out the mouth nicely, not bad tasting just the smell and look of a fizzy yellow pale lager is ho hum.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle, Stateline Liquors. Pours a hazy straw yellow colored body under a one finger fizzy white head that retained as a thin covering. The aroma is a nice balance between the tart crisp wheat and a juicy peach fruitiness. Quite a bit of funkiness going on here. Bracingly tart sour wheat from front to back with a nice restrained peach sweetness. An undercurrent of yeast and cellar funk ties everything together. Mouthfeel is light bodied with great refreshing prickly fizzy carbonation. The tartness never gets overwhelming, and just sucks the saliva from the cheeks. Overall, I think that DFH really nailed this effort. Maybe not a true Berliner Weisse, but a great beer. The best beer from DFH in a very long time.

Hazy yellow color. Smell of malt, yeast, lemons and wheat. No peachy smell. Taste of lemons, wheat, yeast, malt, sour patch candy, sweet tarts, peaches and minor metallic taste. Very tart and acidic.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
I usually like anything and everything Dogfish Head Puts out so this one is puzzling for me. A taste filled with more citrus than peach (think Blue Moon), and an absolutely horrible sour aftertaste. It only gets high marks on appearance simply because it looks like your average Weisse.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light, tart and refreshing. This is the second Berliner Weisse style beer I have had and I enjoyed both. I appreciate Dogfish Headís unique approach to brewing, though the dominate peach aroma and flavor masks anything else there may be in this beer. Pours a murky light yellow with a small white head. Aroma is filled with peaches. The flavor is tart peach ó kind of like peach-flavored lemonade. Some sweetness in the background. Medium body ans slightly sticky, like lemonade.
