Just the right carbonation on this take of a Berliner weisse. Great flavor without being overdone... Perfect for a backyard grilling session

12 ounce bottle. Hazy pale gold color. Brief white head bolts quickly. Sulphury light malty nose reminiscent of navy beans in a can, really. Flavor is tart and fruity, with yeasty, "Berliner-like" characteristics. Some peach notes, though subtle. More lemon-like than peachy. Light fizzy body and palate.

Strong horse blanket aroma with some lemon zest. Taste is lemon and straw with some seltzer water like qualities in the middle of the mouth. As I drink more of this beer, a tart white peach flavor becomes more present in the finish; but it is still very subtle.

Hazy, yellow pour with a bright white head. The aroma is fruity with notes of lemon and mild peach. It has a light body with crisp texture and nearly fizzy carbonation. The taste is tart with a clean, dry finish. Its very light and tasty.

Aroma is sour peach lemon, wheat. Appearance is hazy straw with almost no head. Taste is like a light wheat beer with a lactic souring. Peach is present because Im looking for it. Comes across as lemony. Palate is light and crisp but still has a velvety feel on the tongue which is nice. Overall a nicely done beer...... but the peach doesnt come through the way you might expect from a brewer like dogfish. In the end its a solid berliner weisse that leaves you wanting more.

Head disappears quickly, not much of a nose. Taste is sweet, tart, well balanced. Not getting peaches as much as a lemony hoegaarden like taste, tastes delicious though, could put several back easily. Great very carbonated mouthfeel.

Wheat and lemony scent..tart can’t reallocate peach. Light and crisp. I like it but I don’t love it.

Bottle from Jonis. With Wicked Weed down the road I should probably not bother with substandard sours. Not quite average. Pours a thin, wimpy orange gold with a quickly dissipating head. Sour notes are there but not well balanced. Peach comes through at the end but sour (the unpleasant kind) notes dominate. Somewhat soapy. Not great. Not even good. Definitely average.

Very light and fruity. High carbonation and quite refreshing. Would try again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a thin white head that leaves an attractive skim. Big peach nose, almost peach pie spice with tart undertone. In the glass, though, it passes tart, goes directly to sour and stays there. Despite looking inert, it has an almost champagne fizz that adds a festive touch. Like the aroma, though, this seems at odds with the sourness. Dogfish Head almost always had interesting ideas, but like many of them, the execution of this brew sends mixed messages.
