Bottle - Pours lightly hazy golden with a thin filmy off-white head. Nose is dry white grape, stone fruit, and a lightly tart wheat base. Pretty dry, with some mineral notes. Taste is much the same--peaches, dry white grape, mineral, aspirin, and a bit of lightly soured/tart wheat. Crisp, refreshing, quenching. It’s light and fluffy in the mouth with lots of carbonation. Puzzled as to the low rankings on this one. A fruited berliner for $7.99 a 4-pack that tastes like this? Yes, please. I’ve given DFH my share of crap over the years, but not for this beer.

Bottle. Pale golden, thin white lacing. Yeasty, doughy, fruity aroma. Taste is very sweet. Light body, thin texture, very bubbly, light tart & sweet finish. Not my favorite style but good for an American Berliner Weisse.

Draught at Mukilteo Lodge
Cloudy blond color with compact small head. Light beer, dry but smooth, fruity, more citrusy than else, with a very light peachy touch, and low bitterness.

Hazy yellow pour with quick dissipating white head. Aroma is light acidic funk. Starts off tart with some sweet peach for balance. Develops to crisp light dry finish. Mild tart lingers after for a while. I liked this a lot more than I had expected.

Dirty water aroma with slight tart notes. Clear straw color with no head. Taste is sour apple juice. Very watery with little flavor just sour. Sharp and smooth palate. Would be ok for a cider I guess but not good for beer.

Pours a finger of head on cloudy light straw colored body. The aroma is an airy peach smell. The taste is tart with a peach sweet middle and end. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. The taste is great. The aroma is on the light side.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Perfect for summer. You need to know you are getting a fruit style beer. Light peach at first. Finishes to a blonde style as an end. Tap

Pours really pale yellow. Aroma is funky and sweet. Taste is wheat malt plus sweetness/tartness. Not really getting much of a peach flavor here. Regardless, I like this beer. I’ve only had a few sours and I feel like this would be a good entry point for someone trying to begin exploring sours.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, West Seneca, NY. Pale straw with next to no head; the aroma is grainy with some musty fruit that may be peach; the taste is crisp and tart with some underlying stony peach; and a clean lacklustre finish. I expected more from Dogfish Head.

12oz bottle. Hazy straw colour with a thin foamy white head. Flavors are wheat and lemon with fruity (peach?) notes. Slight sourness and tartness. Light body, moderate carbonation, watery texture. Unpleasant aroma, smells like my first attempts at homebrewing. Not really tasty, meh...
