A fairly balanced, tart and refreshing beer for a sunny afternoon. Bubbly. But this is not Berliner-Weisse as I know it from Germany (i.e. green or red). This was uncolored and (just guessing) no syrups added therefore the fruit flavor is more subtle.

clear and very pale with a big foamy head. Aroma of peach and sour notes. Taste sour and crisp, not too much peach, but a hint. Palate crisp and refreshing, with a peach note that increases over time. I was surprised to find a nice sour beer by dogfish (a brewery that is more known for their IPAs and experimental beers than for subtlety and quality) but I must say that this is quite good.

A little off tasting at first. But in the end it has a nice quenching, refreshing quality about it. Peach flavor is a little artificial.

12 oz. bottle. Pours is a light hazy gold with a white head. Carbonation lies somewhere between champagne and beer. Lacing is ok. Smell is peach and lemon and spice. Taste is peach and lemon, very tart almost like a cider but carbonated like a saison. Refreshing and different. A little too tart for me, not really any detectable malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from draft. Pours a pale clear yellow with thin white head. No lacing. Aroma is very strong peach. Taste is the same. It's a good peach taste. Not artificial. Mildly sour but not overpowering. Fruit beers are not my style but pretty good and not artificial taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale Yellow, Good Head, Little Lacing. Yeast aroma, not very pleasant, leads me to suspect, this might be out of date. Yet another brew that does not use production or best before labeling. Tastes really sour, acidic, no peaches here. While the style calls for this to be sour, I’m pretty sure I’m getting it not the way it is intended or made to be. Too bad, since I was excited to try another beer from Dogfish Head and see what peaches taste like in a beer. It is a miss (or out of date), therefore I’d say, Pass It...

10/4/13. 12 oz bottle from Total Wine, Brea. Pours a very pale yellow from the bottle. Nice head but fades very quickly with some nice lacing. It was a pretty warm October day in California so this was a perfect refreshing Weisse to open up today. This was a lot more tart than I was expecting with a lot of peach and maybe a little apricot hitting the back of my throat. Wish I tried this a couple months ago so I could've enjoyed during the heat of the summer.

The beer pours okay with a pale golden hazy color, a mild white head and no lacing on the glass. The beer smells decently with a nice blend of lemon zest, wheat, corriander, and white pepper. The beer tastes decent with a bitter peach and corriander flavor that gives away to a lemony bitterness. The mouthfeel is average with as the mouth is somewhat dry and bitter but the beer seemed to be overly carbonated. Overall, an average berlinerweiss with some okay blended flavor but over carbonated.

Not so impresive as other products. It was nice, somwhat sweet and smooth but the flavours were almost only a hint.
