12 oz bottle from Wegman’s - Paoli, PA - Bought this with my girlfriend in mind .Neo-Berliner Weisse + peaches = a slam dunk no brainer for a girl who loves hefe weizens and summer fruit. Or at least I thought! This beer is not as advertised, and her loss has been my gain! Pours hazy yellow with minimal head, eventually fading into a narrow ring. Light bodied with hints of peach, prosecco and wheatgrass. Taste is initially very peachy, almost like a concentrated juice. But it quickly morphes into a tart, pseudo cider/lambic beer. Very one of a kind. I am getting into sour beers and Festina Peche is right on the precipice of being a sour. Really good, not sure why it is not being rated better..

Slight peach in the nose. Crisp on the pallet with an earthy peach after taste. Not overly sweet. Overall a very drinkable beer in the style.

Aroma: prosecco with peaches. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, small, white head. Taste: medium sour. Palate: lively carbonation, turns quite bitter in the average long finish. Overall: OK Berlin we Weiss, lovely peachy aroma and palate. Pint at Rattle N Hum, Manhattan.

Appearance- Hazy, pale golden with a medium fizzy white head. Head doesn’t last long but has nice lacing. Aroma- Tart peaches, malty, fruity. Flavor- big tart peach punch, some malt comes through, acidic. Almost a wine cooler.

Cloudy pale gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is tart white peach, lemon, floury wheat, a little cereal and a hint of sharp cheesiness. Flavor is surprisingly sweet peach up front, then some cereal, floury wheat, sharp lemon, surprisingly strong lactic notes, then stone fruit coming through more tart, and a nice, crisp tart finish. Light body, fairly strong, spritzy carbonation that suit the beer well, dry, slightly chalky, but crisp feel throughout with a decent acidic tingle. Really tasty stuff overall, maybe not too complex behind the tart peach notes, but it all comes together pretty well.

Bottle - Pours a hazy light yellow with a creamy head. Refreshing wheat beer with some peach notes. Rich fruit finish. Great on a warm day.

Festina Peche pours a mostly cloudy faint yellow with a medium bubbly ivory head that lasts a fair while. The aroma is peach and grape. The flavor is peach and grape as well with a sour finish. Overall this is a decent beer.

Bottle - Pours lightly hazy golden with a thin filmy off-white head. Nose is dry white grape, stone fruit, and a lightly tart wheat base. Pretty dry, with some mineral notes. Taste is much the same--peaches, dry white grape, mineral, aspirin, and a bit of lightly soured/tart wheat. Crisp, refreshing, quenching. It’s light and fluffy in the mouth with lots of carbonation. Puzzled as to the low rankings on this one. A fruited berliner for $7.99 a 4-pack that tastes like this? Yes, please. I’ve given DFH my share of crap over the years, but not for this beer.

Bottle. Pale golden, thin white lacing. Yeasty, doughy, fruity aroma. Taste is very sweet. Light body, thin texture, very bubbly, light tart & sweet finish. Not my favorite style but good for an American Berliner Weisse.

Draught at Mukilteo Lodge
Cloudy blond color with compact small head. Light beer, dry but smooth, fruity, more citrusy than else, with a very light peachy touch, and low bitterness.

Hazy yellow pour with quick dissipating white head. Aroma is light acidic funk. Starts off tart with some sweet peach for balance. Develops to crisp light dry finish. Mild tart lingers after for a while. I liked this a lot more than I had expected.
