3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Translucent and pale buffered gold in color with rapid sand storms rising from the bottom to fuel a velvety white head. Aroma adheres to fresh, doughy pastries with mandarins and lemon chiffon accents hinting at a peach cobbler characteristic. A smidgeon of lemony, cotton like cleanser comes through the Splenda-esque peach yogurt nose. Flavor grants us a sour, peachy vanilla watermelon trait. Cleansing to the palate. Separated biscuit layers conjure the bakery intonations, along with a peach crepe coming apart into two camps: one of flaky crescent toppings, the other one of bakers dough with fruit sauce. Effervescent and medium bodied, fairly delightful to toss around the mouth, finishing with a tart lemon rosemary marmalade jam upon a peach cranberry bread.

Pours slightly hazy gold with a little bit of white head. Very sweet slightly fruity yeasty aroma. Crisp light body with a slight amount of grassy / earthy hops. Slightly tart lemon fruity flavor, maybe a little peach. Little bit of funky yeast character as well.Pretty good.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
So, this beer is listed as a berliner weissbier, and is not brewed with any bacteria. I will review as an american fruit beer.
Bottled summer 2011
Pours a diaphanous golden ale with some transient white foam and residual cap and ring. Smells like grain, wheat and a hint of peach (sweet peach). Flavor is slightly tart with plenty of peach flavor and a decent wheat flavor. There are some grassy flavors on the finish. The beer is medium bodied with light carb a little bit of a dry finish.
The beer is certainly quaffable, but does not flow into the wheat category well. Also not particularly fruity (although moreso than some). Absolutely not a Berliner Weissbier. I would drink again, and this is probably my fifth time having this beer, but I would simply tell most folks this is a fruit beer that is slightly tart, not a Berliner Weissbier.

Pale yellow hazy pour with a finger thick white head. Peachy, apply aroma, very fizzy like soft drink. Sour, lemony up front. Stays sour, dry, and then the peach cuts through. Very easy drinking, summery beer

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From 12 oz bottle. Pours a light straw yellow with a thin white head and lively carbonation. Aromas of fresh peaches, apple juice, lemon and a touch of strawberry.. Taste is sharply sour at first with zesty citrus evident before a pleasant peach comes through. Clean apple at the end before a lemony aftertaste. Really good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a murky very light golden color with a tiny, there-and-gone white cap. Aroma akin to a peach mimosa, if such a thing exists. Medium body and fizzy mouthfeel. Mild, but evident fresh, mildly sour peach flavor. Alright.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: drunk from the bottle so need to revisit. First Berliner Wiesse and test with a degree of trepidation.
Light, refreshing nose with moderate to high intensity peach. Clean. Palate is dry, sour and not bitter. Wonderful and fresh palate. Clean. Great refreshing drink. The sour profile is managed perfectly. Can’t wait to try another example of this style.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
smells like champagne with a hint of peaches.... beer is very light and hazy...taste is like champagne too, hint of peach but very bubbly and light...smooth and crisp with no malt and extremely low hops taste...a very different beer! Rates slightly higher than it’s taste due to uniqueness...

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz Bottle. The pour was a lightly cloudy straw yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white fizzy head that was totally gone in a matter of seconds, leaving nothing behind as far as lacing.
The aroma was somewhat light with a grain malt and an earthy cobweb yeast and just a hint of peach and a light cardboard odor.
The taste was sweetly tart right off and was present throughout, with a decent peach flavor creeping in creating a tart peach taste for the finish. The flavor lasted an average time following the swallow, with the tart fruity taste fading off the taste buds rather quickly.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery yet lightly dry texture and a mildly ticklish carbonation.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of this brew, which was slightly more intense than the aroma suggested. I could see myself sippin’ on a couple of these, as I found it to be lightly refreshing and mildly tasty... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews
