2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Great aroma, complex IPA with a nice hint of peach. Hop is simple and strong, lingers. Malt backing is thick, overly so, coats the mouth, peach is barely detectable in the taste. Tastes like an ok IPA ruined by a too thick malt.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a 355ml bottle on 11/11/2014. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden with a small head which disappears almost immediately. Has a modest, slightly sharp, vinous, fruity nose. Flavour wise, it’s a touch odd, with an incongruous sour peach with a moderate tart bitterness finishing things off. Has a medium body and average to lively carbonation. Just okay and wouldn’t have again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from 12 fl oz bottle. Hazy pale golden yellow with minimal white head. Peach, mild tartness, yeast. Dry-ish finish. Quite enjoyed. I can see the wine comparable being a pinot grigio (in the ratebeer description).

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Foggy very pale yellow, not much in the way of bubbles. Aroma of french bread, barnyard, peach (I suppose). Taste is sweet, sour, bitter. Strong bread character underlying. Honestly tastes like wheat itself. With peaches. And sour. Refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml Bottle as a gift from Virginia, USA:
I quite enjoyed this one from Dogfish Head, it definitely wasn’t the classic that I was hoping for but it had enough going for it to keep things interesting & enjoyable, particularly because I’ve frequently found Berliner Weisse beers a little too strong & overpowering at times. The beer had a pleasant citrus & peach taste to it that went down relatively easily, particularly after it settled down & opened up some; it’s one well worth trying but I’d probably opt for something else over this one if I ever came across it in future.

Slight peach in the nose. Crisp on the pallet with an earthy peach after taste. Not overly sweet. Overall a very drinkable beer in the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy pale gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is tart white peach, lemon, floury wheat, a little cereal and a hint of sharp cheesiness. Flavor is surprisingly sweet peach up front, then some cereal, floury wheat, sharp lemon, surprisingly strong lactic notes, then stone fruit coming through more tart, and a nice, crisp tart finish. Light body, fairly strong, spritzy carbonation that suit the beer well, dry, slightly chalky, but crisp feel throughout with a decent acidic tingle. Really tasty stuff overall, maybe not too complex behind the tart peach notes, but it all comes together pretty well.
