The_Jester (444), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Jan 31, 2008 12 oz bottle from radiomgb. Hazy piss yellow with a small, bright white, rapidly disappearing head. Smells like a white wine spritzer. Mouth-puckeringly tart. Lots of wheat, but I don’t get a lot of peach taste - makes me curious to try a straight berliner weisse. (The peach flavour increases as the beer warms). Sweet-sour finish. Very dry, and quite heavily carbonated. Very refreshing and drinkable. Thanks again, Jeff.
oakbluff (190), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jul 21, 2008 Pours a light straw yellow with one finger white head and minimal lacing. Nose- apricots and peach. Taste- tart with peach sharpness. Has a certain graininess to it. Finishes clean and minimal aftertaste other than grain. Fruit not overdone nor sweet which is appreciate. Easy drinker- high carbonation. Quite refreshing. rcweir (78), Massachusetts, USA Jul 19, 2008 Pours pale, cloudy orange, with head quickly receding to nothing. Sour aroma and flavor with some balance from the peaches. Finish is lingering sourness. Crisply carbonated and refreshing. Swolf3 (13), Elkton, Maryland, USA Jul 14, 2008 Very tart on nose and tongue, close to champagne. pours a hazy gold. did not enjoy the taste very much. sja14 (48), Ohio, USA Jul 14, 2008 Updated: Jul 21, 2008Had this one on tap at WInking Lizard. Cloudy pale yellow with small white head. Smells like peaches. Tastes sour and tart with hints of peach. reminds me of lemonade with barely any sugar. A good thirst quencher, this beer has a short finish. My first sample of the style and I enjoyed it. Beatanalyst (8), Bensenville, Illinois, USA does not count Jul 14, 2008 Not a good blend for DFH. It pours a very light color. Flavors are a little strong of peach and a very sour finish. Not the average Dog Head Brew.
