Pours a straw yellow with medium white head, very little retention. Aroma is not what I expected, but it is pleasant. Not exactly peaches up front, more like a mild peach nectar. Weíve got some hay, wheat, and a nice funkiness. Flavor is surprisingly acidic, peach takes a back seat, lots of wheat and a mild yeast flavor. Doesnít sit on the palate all that well though, very dry and leaves a bit of cotton mouth after.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color with minimal head. The aroma is sour and acidic with subtle peach. The flavor is sour with a fruity tartness. The peach flavor is nicely balanced, present but not overwhelming. Light body with moderate to high carbonation. The finish is dry. Overall I thought this was a nice refreshing Berliner Weisse. The peach juice addition was well done. It added a fruity tartness to the beer but didnít dominate or give the beer a juice-like quality.

Poured from a 32oz grunt into a pint glass. Pours a very hazy, off-yellow color, with plenty of white head. Smells of peaches. Tastes a peach seltzer drink... go grab a better peach brew.

Bottle - Soapy, sweet and light peach notes. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Light tart wheat, some citrus and a clean finish. I donít get much peach at all, but a nice Berliner.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, peach, citrus and tartness. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and light sour with a long dry, peachy, citrus and slightly sour finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear yellow body under a small white head. Peaches, some wheat and citrus juice in the aroma, lightly sourish. Itís medium bodied, dry and with a nice carbonation level. Tart, lemony flavor with a good dash of peach. A light bitterness too. Long finish. A very quenching and refreshing one. 150621

12oz bottle. Bottled 5/23/15. Appearance: Pale yellow, cloudy, no head. Aroma: Funky, sour, acidic. Nothing strong. Taste: Light crackery malt, light lactic tartness, with the slightest touch of peach. Mouthfeel: Light body, low carbonation Finish: Light lingering peach and lactic sourness. Very subtle. Overall: Decent Berliner Weisse. Clean, well balanced with no off flavor a. Flavor and lactic tartness is mild and subtle.

Iíve never had anything peach flavored that wasnít insanely sweet - but this one is actually quite tart. I thought something was very wrong, but the internet says Berliner Weisses are supposed to be quite tart, so I guess that was the plan. I really canít pick up much peach flavor, it really is just like a pale, slightly alcoholic, undersweetened lemonade. Very glad now I just got a single bottle. Really, the label design people need to write TART someowhere on this bottle.

Drinking as I type, on tap, outdoors, currently 95įF in NC. Definitely shines in these circumstances. not much nose apparent out here in breeze, tasty and tart yet restrained, almost muted. When I think of Berliner I usually think citrus: this could change that to peach. Very enjoyable in the southern summer heat.
