The beer pours a pale yellow with a rapidly disappearing head. Slightly cloudy. The beer has a very sour aroma sort of like lemon meringue pie but breadier and not as lemony. If there is any peach profile to this beer it is in the aroma. Even then, one must use imagination to detect it. Taste is very tart. I can only imagine what this beer might have tasted like without the peach extract. The sour finish lingers and finishes clean. Medium high carbonation with some bite on the tongue. Body is light. Texture is acidic. This beer is interesting because it is the first of this style for me. I will drink another, but early in the evening with a light crisp salad perhaps.

On tap in a sample glass at the Farmhouse: Pours hazy yellow / golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is really lemony with a hint of funk. Taste is sour and lemon. Iím not picking up on the peach. Light body, medium carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Itís OK.

Bottle. Light aroma, almost like a lemon cleanser. Tart flavor- hint of peach but may not note notice if not looking for it. Overall, a mediocre Berliner weisse.

12oz bottle. Cloudy golden yellow. Aroma of salt, lemon, very mild peach, wet straw. Taste is sweet and mildly tart. Mouthfeel is crisp, effervescent, but rather thin.

From a 355ml bottle on 11/11/2014. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden with a small head which disappears almost immediately. Has a modest, slightly sharp, vinous, fruity nose. Flavour wise, itís a touch odd, with an incongruous sour peach with a moderate tart bitterness finishing things off. Has a medium body and average to lively carbonation. Just okay and wouldnít have again.

Poured from 12 fl oz bottle. Hazy pale golden yellow with minimal white head. Peach, mild tartness, yeast. Dry-ish finish. Quite enjoyed. I can see the wine comparable being a pinot grigio (in the ratebeer description).

Foggy very pale yellow, not much in the way of bubbles. Aroma of french bread, barnyard, peach (I suppose). Taste is sweet, sour, bitter. Strong bread character underlying. Honestly tastes like wheat itself. With peaches. And sour. Refreshing.

355ml Bottle as a gift from Virginia, USA:
I quite enjoyed this one from Dogfish Head, it definitely wasnít the classic that I was hoping for but it had enough going for it to keep things interesting & enjoyable, particularly because Iíve frequently found Berliner Weisse beers a little too strong & overpowering at times. The beer had a pleasant citrus & peach taste to it that went down relatively easily, particularly after it settled down & opened up some; itís one well worth trying but Iíd probably opt for something else over this one if I ever came across it in future.

Poured from a bottle. Hazy light yellow color, quick dissolving white head. Sour fruit aroma. Medium body with a slight tart peach flavor and a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slight peach in the nose. Crisp on the pallet with an earthy peach after taste. Not overly sweet. Overall a very drinkable beer in the style.

Aroma: prosecco with peaches. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, small, white head. Taste: medium sour. Palate: lively carbonation, turns quite bitter in the average long finish. Overall: OK Berlin we Weiss, lovely peachy aroma and palate. Pint at Rattle N Hum, Manhattan.
