Bottle. Gold, just hazy with a modest white head that doesn’t hang around long. Wheaty aroma with apples and peaches. Light bodied. Taste has some peach sweetness, modest sourness, some wood. Less interest in the tart flavours than suggested by the aroma, but pleasantly balanced. Dry. Very refreshing on a warm evening.

Nice carbonation. Sour and fruity on the front end with a finish that tastes of malt. Not the best thing I’ve had, but definitely interesting and drinkable. As a big fan of sour beers this one is a pleasant experience for sure.

18.06.2013, tap @ Whole Foods Market NY: Small shortlasting head. Aroma is fruity fizzy, wheat, peach, hay, yeast, caramel, sour apples, grass. Taste is slightly sour fruity, light malts, sorrel, lemon, sour apples, grass, hay, peach, yeast, rhubarb, chalk. Interesting, kind of nice actually.

Pours hazy yellow with a fine white head of loose foam that fell quickly to a thin film. The occasional bubble was observed to be floating nonchalantly to the top. Nose is strong with brett, just a little peach, sour and floral. There’s a spicy bite and a dry wheat malt base underneath. Musty. Taste is mild peach. Fruit is much fainter than I expected and I had to work pretty hard to find it on the nose and on the palate. It’s light, tart and has a healthy earth. Acidic. Body is light and crisp. The wheat base is strong and refreshing and offers up some bread. Together with the restrained fruit character that bread was a nice compliment. No hop bitterness. A pale, mouthwatering and very dry finish.

This is an exuberant drink. It’s not explosive in it’s fruit character but it is clean and tart. The fruit did sweeten as the beer warmed but not to the measure of an IPA. The strong wheat based malt character gave enough bread to create a balance you could literally observe. I would call it a liberated taste.

Father’s Day beer with Dad #1. Got things started with something a little light. This beer seems underrated to me, but I do have a soft spot for Berliner Weisse. Peach and grain are all over the nose. Pours a pale, pale yellow. Flavor is sour with just a touch of fresh peach sweetness. Champagne bubbles as expected with a nice back end bite. Draft - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA

Draft pour clear pale yellow. Nose of rotting peach and wheat. Taste fruit sweetness up front, followed by strong wheat taste. Not a great balance.

Draft at Sybarite Pig. Pint glass. Very light yellow, clear pour with two finger white fluffy head. Head gone in 60 seconds but lacing was decent. Aroma was light with mostly peaches. The taste was overwhelming peach, light bread, and yeast. Not sweet. It had a slight sour brett taste to it. Carbonated mouth and dry finish. Very good and refreshing.

The peaches definitely dominate this beer. This lack of balance is unfortunate, peaches something more subtle would’ve made this a great summer session. Tried in NYC in 2013.

Nice refreshing beer. Light as a rainbow tangy and just the right peachy sweetness. This might be what unicorn pee would taste like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of peaches with a splash of lemon color. Light and effervescent...bubbles rising like my spirit with each sip I take. This beer is light and citrusy and not overly peachy. It's sour while fruity and crisp. Great for a sweltering day. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured into a glass. Clear pale yellow appearance with no head. Light floral aroma. Sour fruit taste that lingers slightly.
