Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Not much raspberry. Moderate bitter flavor. Average gfinish. Creamy palate. Way too alcoholic.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-04-04, shared with mto, isos and Reksa, thaks!) Red and hazy. Small white head. Alcohol, raspberries and port wine in aroma. Full bodied and dry palate with little carbonation and warmth from alcohol. Port wine, redcurrant, cherries, raspberries, light bitterness and stong alcohol in taste. Raspberries in aftertaste.

Fruity berry aroma, maybe some cherry, but mostly raspberry, all merrily stuck together with glue. At its best, very nice, but the glue ruins this completely. Taste has lots of alcohol burn and plenty of glue - ethyl acetate by the bucket-load. Some sharpness and woodiness, almost like a madeira in places, maybe a touch of tawny port. However, it’s stupidly alcoholic, and a 75cl bottle of this is lunacy. Glue subsides a little once you’ve got desensitised to the gluey overload. Raisins are there as well as raspberries. And glue. Raspberry glue.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing! Pours a hazy brownish-amber with an off-white ring. Huge aroma, of raspberry, booze, sugar, malt. Big taste, lots of raspberry, with malt, sugar, an alcohol bite, and a hint of wood. Big lingering raspberry flavors and thick mouthfeel. Intense and awesome.

Consumed at 45. Smells of un-aged mead and cider. Pour opaquely hazy with nice golden amber color. The smell hints at a wicked bite, but quite smooth. The alcohol is surprisingly smooth and the raspberries come through in the middle with a pleasant bitter finish. Enjoyable and worth a try.
