2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber color. Aroma of sugary fruit, alcohol. No carbonation, thick syrup, sweetness, alcohol finish. Not my favorite offering. A little ambitious with the ABV leads to a not so great offering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served showing a slightly hazed, copper color, with a presentable layer of off white/light tan head foam, and doily-like cling to the ribbons of lacing. The nose was expressive fruitiness of raspberry puree, tartness, and a promise of substantial alcohol to come. Medium+ bodied, the taste projected the fruit with more of a sweet, candy-like nature, sticky & syrupy texture, strong but not hot booziness, and a moderate astringency & tartness that combined nicely with some lively carbonation. Although not a big Fruit Beer fan, this didn’t get tedious to me, and I appreciated the freshness of the fruit along with the unusually strong alcohol kick.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Smell is medicinal. Taste is a touch on the strong side, but bearably so. Tried it on draft in 5oz pour and I'm not mad about it. For beer heads only.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an almost reddish yellow with specks and a very thin head. Aroma is raspberry. Flavor is raspberry. Body is very thick and syrupy. It’s amazing a beer this strong hides the alcohol so well. This is good, but not something that stays good for a whole beer, or even half a beer. Gets almost cough syrup-like as it warms up. Nonetheless, pretty impressive.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Beer and Wine. Nice light amber body with puffy white head. Nose is floral of berries and of burned sugar. Taste is fruity of raspberries of course and even slightly chocolate with a serious kick of alcohol. Pretty enjoyable stuff.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Innovative and pretty daunting. Lots of raspberry aroma and flavor, but with a ton of malt and alcohol thrown in. Something to be tried, but I’d recommend splitting the bottle.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a slightly reddish color with no head. Aroma had lots of raspberries, cherry, and booze. Very sweet too. Taste is thick and syrupy with a good amount of booze and fruit. More raspberry flavor with a slight alcohol stinging on the way down. Overall it is definitely interesting, but a little hard to drink after a while.

On tap at funks. Very sweet with raspberry tartness and a hard bite in the finish. Doesn't linger. Strong.

1.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma of raspberries which is promising, taste is awful. Where to begin. Raspberries and then a punch of yeast then alcohol. Lots of alcohol. May be the strongest fruit beer- beware; not good.
