3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SB (333) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2006From Bottle. Bottled on 1/28/05
Poured reddish-gold. Bubbly white head. Aroma of Raspberries. Flavor of honey and raspberries but they were not noticeable until it warmed. The 18% was hidden well, until the last glass I had. Reminded me of cough syrup.

Bottle. Pours a hazy brown/red with some raspberry on the nose. Flavor was some raspberry, but not overpowering and had some alcohol bite. Wasn’t great but was a fun beer to share.

750ml bottle. Pours a nice clear amber with red hues, with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of raspberry, honey, and fruity alcohol. Taste is strong raspberries up front, syrupy, and very boozy.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bbbeer (411) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 9, 2013
A fairly standard bubbly orange with very small but persistent light tan head. Aroma berries, molasses, booze, yeast. Medium full body, syrupy as expected, lightly carbonated. At first sip there is a yeasty ale flavor but then you are promptly smacked by the sweet raspberries. Tons of alcohol as expected but if you get yourself into a wine/port mindset it’s acceptable. Still, as drinkable as can be for 18%. Tenth of a point off for 750 mL bottle, if it came in 12 oz would pick one up now and then. As it is for rare occasions although would like to try aged.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 DCLawyer (687) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - FEB 25, 2013
750ml->stem. Amber/copper with thin lacy head. Aroma has grapes, sour fruit and berries, yeast. Taste is a funky wine/spice/malt combination. Hard to describe, but maybe a thin spicy beer port.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 jrgratz (113) - New York, USA - FEB 17, 2013
2006 Bottle from Eric.. thank you. Pour is a pinkish cloudy aber.. yeast sediment present. Scent is raspberry, yeast, oak, cough medicine, simple syrup. Taste is raspberry, malt, bread, caramel, citrus, slightly sour. Thicker and less carbonated than I anticipated. More of a malt liquor than a fruit beer. Nice but not what I was expecting... def boozy.

750 bottle. Pours a clear, light red color with no head. Intense fruit aromatics and alcohol presence. Medium body. Very fruity. Goes well with chocolate. Big alcohol in finish, a bit viscous. Late fruit character. Complex and nice.
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20 arrogantb (1398) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 22, 2012
750ml bottle 2008 vintage. I knew this would be a tough beer but I was still completely unprepared for this shit. Sort of a light orange with a pinkish hue. Aroma is acetone and nail polish remover, disgusting. Flavor is very sweet, hint of raspberries and overwhelming alcohol. It was what I imagine industrial cleaning supplies to taste like. I think this was the worst beer I have ever tasted in my life .

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with thin white head, light lacing, and lots of bubbly carbonation. Aroma of raspberries and alcohol, taste follows. Light and bubbly, kind of like raspberry champagne. Easy to drink, but watch out, it will sneak up on you.
