Aroma is kiwi, citrus, grass, apricot. Flavor is drier and more bitter than the aroma lets on and is a definite plus for me. I detect hops, peanuts, grass, slight caramel. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 15, 2007 A nice Eurpoean strong. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Strong hoppy aroma. Taste was sweet with malt and grass in the beginning but the beer changes pace during the swallow and gets hoppy and bitter. Semi dry aftertaste. No alcohol burn at all. I would have thought this beer was 6.5-7%. Good job! GreenDragon (213), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Light aroma of hops, lemon and other citrus. Much thicker flavor follows with a bit of alcoholic bite and much maltier. Thick mouthfeel. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 12, 2007 Clear golden body with a very thin white head. Aroma of super strong alcohol, lemons, yeast, malt, hops and apricots. Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with a good hop bitterness up front following soon after with a strong palate of malt and a good backbone of alcohol and bitter lemons. Aftertaste shows the malt, yeast and light spice that shows up front and lasts quite a while on the palate. Overall, a decent beer - a bit too strong for a ’normal’ beer for me. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from very nice owner Kevin from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on 11-September-2007. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA
