A nice Eurpoean strong. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Strong hoppy aroma. Taste was sweet with malt and grass in the beginning but the beer changes pace during the swallow and gets hoppy and bitter. Semi dry aftertaste. No alcohol burn at all. I would have thought this beer was 6.5-7%. Good job!

Clear hoppy aroma on a white head. Golden yellow body. Strong hoppy aroma with a sweet aftertaste that quickly turns bitter. Malty lingering body. The best lager I’ve had so far. Makes we wanna go get some good solid foodand drink more.

Bottle Straw pour with thin microbubble head and decent lacing. Light aroma of hops, lemon and other citrus. Much thicker flavor follows with a bit of alcoholic bite and much maltier. Thick mouthfeel. I’m not a pils guy, but this is good for a pils.

Clear golden body with a very thin white head. Aroma of super strong alcohol, lemons, yeast, malt, hops and apricots. Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with a good hop bitterness up front following soon after with a strong palate of malt and a good backbone of alcohol and bitter lemons. Aftertaste shows the malt, yeast and light spice that shows up front and lasts quite a while on the palate. Overall, a decent beer - a bit too strong for a ’normal’ beer for me. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from very nice owner Kevin from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on 11-September-2007.

The body was clear and golden, and the carbonation was very active, forming a two finger head in the Pilsner glass. The true to style appearance was followed by a restrained, grassy, noble hop aroma. The taste was as bold as the smell was mild. Spicy, bitter, and sulfurous hops were front and center. The malt was creamy and soft, and just a little sour, and the tingle of carbonation across the tongue during each sip enhanced all of the flavors. The aftertaste was spicy and lingered on long after each sip. Full bodied, yet a true Pilsner in all aspects of the experience. Very well crafted beer from this amazing brewery.
