| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Been sitting on this for a while. It says bottled in 2007. The aroma is light, malty, not much to it. The appearance is an orange/copper color, fully diminishing head a little lacing. The flavor is bitter, a little acidic, has a grain taste kinda like cereal. Not bad, probably sat on it too long. OK, as I’m still drinking this, it’s tasting a lot better - creamy, mellow leaves a nice feel in the mouth. jredmond (1027), New Jersey, USA

The aroma is slightly hoppy, floral, and yeasty. The taste is incredibly smooth - nothing like the aroma suggests. Notes of sweet malt, fruit, and sugar. kiefdog (1586), Tampa, Florida, USA

Medium body with a slightly sweet and slightly bitter finish. Nice ale.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours with a large, white head, excellent lacing, and a nice yellow body. Aromas of citrus, a bit of pear, and some cereal. Lively carbonation with a creamy, slick texture. Long duration and nice bitter finish. Overall a good lager that I would much rather drink than those from AB or Miller. sebletitje (1903), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma, malty, fruity (grapefruit), has all the aroma of an strong imp. lager/pilsner.
Taste, lightly hoppy, malty (pine/fruity). Has the signature Dogfish Head, with hints of grapefruit, light caramel malts. Aftertaste leaves a light hoppy finish, with the abv being well present. MrChopin (632), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
