Clear amber with a frothy off white head, nice lacing. Big malty white bread yeast, oxidized aroma. Medium body. Lots of yeasty white bread in the flavor, along with some heavy pale malts. The alcohol is noticeable but doesn’t get in the way. Pretty good for a two plus year old lager. Swolf3 (83), Elkton, Maryland, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle from GMCC2181. Golden color when poured with thick head, Taste is malty with a hop taste afterwards. A good everyday brew. Perfumey floral aroma, sweet malt. Very malty foundation, sweet, generously hopped to deliver complex floral aromatics. Finish is long and bitter. Delicious!
