Found this gem at a local pub. When it arrived in a one liter bottle bottle I was even more surprised. Great, great, great. I always have a bottle in my fridge now. Just in case.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An old style ale. Heavy malts hid the booze. Similar to a British ipa. Minimal hops and the lemon gives it a sweetened twist on the otherwise malt heavy flavor. Really good and not what I was expecting. RIP RJ

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper colored hazy pour w/ a tall dense white head with nice lacing. Big hop aroma with some warm notes that suggest a large gravity behind it. A good amount of citrus a hint of what I might call lemon zest is just lightly available along with a little bit of graham cracker and then unfortunately when your nose starts to blend it all I get a hint of soapy character. Palate is aggressively carbonated and well coated. Flavor is almost a touch sweet in their with a finish reminder of a lightly lemon candy on top of a lingering grassy bitterness. The front flavors include some sweeter grapefruit notes.
There’s something just different about this, whether its the odd play of the lemon that goes between sweet candy, sour, and soapy at different times or something else I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Either way I enjoyed the bomber.

Pours a nice amber color with nice head. Have it a chance to calm down and release the flavors. Loved the bitterness of the Centennial hops. For 58 IBUs it was very hoppy. Can't wait to finish the other half of the bottle.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours to a hazy deep glowing amber bronze body with a lasting off-white head. Some nice thick lacing. Aroma is bitter hops and sweet sugary malt. The flavor is hoppy with some sugary malt and a nice balanced lemon. Almost like a rangpur lime and meyer lemon. Medium body that is surprisingly not overbearingly bitter. Balance is high. Little alcohol taste.

Sampled at ESBLS. A coppery and almost clear beer. A pine aroma dominates. Pine Sol. Big pine is also tasted along with equally big citrus. Lemons, too. A hop bomb. Big malts but they don’t stand a chance here. A tasty one, too.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not enough lemon to cover the hops. Mouthfeel suffers from the thinness of the lemon. Cloudy look, clean taste.
